Don't know if you guys are going to be chatting tomorrow night, but unless you go a bit late, we won't be there.

tomorrow night is the start of HS football season. We will be at the HS game that I'm on the school board tomorrow night, and Saturday night will be at the game of the school that Amy and I went to. We are real HS sports fans here - especially football.

As a bonus, at our home district, we get to sit in the press box for the games. This is the same press box John Madden sat in for the Hall of Fame game. Both of our High school teams play at that stadium. The school we both went to is a perennial powerhouse, and expected to win the league - the school where I am on the board is not expected to do so well . . .

Well, I can't even imagine the pain. I forgot about what happened today that probably has given me this headache. At CFA we were ordering and DS was too close to DD so she was pushing him back with her butt. I leaned over to tell her to stop it when ... you guessed it... she jumped up from bending over & hit me in the mouth with her head. I tasted blood right away. The cashier's eyes got big and she handed me a cup with ice in the middle of getting our stuff together. It is still swollen and purple and hurts.

Oh and for those of you who were wondering.... I was out helping the homeless with some people from work!

DSD Just got NorthEast Washington Fair QUEEN tonight. There goes every weekend for the next year.

Oh yeah thanks all of you BB watchers for getting me addicted to this show. I was so frustrated last night because the boards were slow that I was searching for recaps. Then I was surfing Youtube. I didn't actually go to bed until 2:30A - I also like Will but Mike gets on my nerves. I didn't initially like Janelle but she has grown on me. I keep having this feeling there is another alliance or plot that hasn't played out. Wouldn't it be funny if Janelle and the woman who cries all of the time (can't recall name) and was in solitary confinement - anyway what if she and Janelle secretly have been planning this all and CT went on the block. That would be wild! Also I am glad James left, his whining was annoying.

Well, the kids made it to school with time to spare this morning. DD insisted that I walk her in and I told her it is only for today to take pictures. She did fine until she put her lunchbox & backpack in her cubby then the tears flooded. OY! Thankfully her Asst. teacher came in & scooped her up. Monday DS will walk her to her classroom. They are right across the hall from each other. DS told me quickly that I didn't have to hold his hand walking down the hall.

SORRY these are so big! I am trying to figure out photobucket since snapfish isn't working the same way now. OY! I resized them to 75% of original & they still show up the same way.

Hope I don't have nightmares about getting myself tatooed with the story of my life on every Tuesday night for months . . . Gee, what would I have back there . . . Something definitive . . .do they do Hostess Twinkees on Miami Ink?

Good Luck tomorrow! Now that DD is going into 1st grade I need to try not to cry this time. I am not the crying type and preschool and kindergarten I kept it together enough to get back to our car and lose it. DH gave me this stunned look the first time it happened and then proceeded to laugh rubbing my back as I boohooed ( ) Now he expects it even when I say "I don't get it. I don't feel like I'm going to cry" It's just seeing them line up and walk into the classroom alone. Sigh...

something about them all lined up getting on the bus...gets me everytime!!!

It is now 7:43 and Eliza is still completely asleep! I just went to check on her and she didn't move!!!! It almost too good to be true!!!

awww....such cute pix - I'm sure she'll be fine, but I know it was killing you to leave her! It's nice big brother will walk her to the room - mine did that, too!

Oh I am so glad things went well this morning and DD had the Asst teacher to scoop her up. That works out well being across from each other. Last year DD would walk in front of DH shouting "wait up!" if she saw a classmate a head of her. "Daddy I am not a baby" she said once to DH re bringing her up to the steps.

Glad the pictures fixed themselves so they aren't learing at you on the computer.

DD has ALWAYS cried when I drop her off at school. Every single day in the 2 year & 3 year PS class and most of the 4 year class. Kindergarten was going well until January when DH left for DC for four months. She started crying when she woke up in the morning and didn't stop until she got to the classroom & the teacher had her do something special for her like hand out papers or take something to the office. She was always ready for her. The teachers line up in the hallway at the school before the bell and every single one of them would pass her off to the next one. Yes, it does make it difficult for a teacher to have to pick your child up out of the van when they are crying and carry her to the door. Now that Daddy is home I was really hoping that it would stop. BTW, it was kind of funny in PS because I would stand out in the hall after leaving her crying & could not count to ten before she would stop & start coloring or playing. OY! She has a good time when she is there...it is just getting her there that is difficult.

Thinking of maybe opening up our room to DIS tourists on the Wine and cheese tour. No wine in our room though... Fluff'n'nutter sandwiches maybe....
