i'm going, too -
can't wait to see BB tonight!

have fun at hershey tomorrow!

Ok, this is official begging. Please do not post anything about BB that I can figure out until after it has started here. Remember I am 2 hours behind most of you. Subtle innuendo is no problem, righteous indignation at people no problem, but don't tell me who gets kicked out unless you make some clever clue thing I can't understand...

John, I don't even care if you make stuff up.... or, just do that thing where you scroll down then I can skip it and come back.

I can't wait to see BB tonight! :) I have been checking out the videos of the live feed on youtube.com. OOOOOOHHHHHHH! It is getting good now! :lmao: IDK how much of it they will show though. The did the actual POV comp last night for this next eviction on Thursday. The house is being flipped upsidedown! :)

I kind of hate to say this, but I went over to the regular DIS Cruise board today just to see what is going on (haven't been over there for awhile) and all I can say is Boooooooring! :bored:

I could not even find one thread that was interesting to me. I have much more fun, and can learn a lot more hanging out with you guys.

I don't know how Lisa has the patience to moderate that board - it would drive me :crazy2:

John1

Me niether and can I say here, and not on the main board, DH would not be caught dead going to a business conference with purple luggage....

ROFLMAO!!!! Kim, I will refrain from posting anything else. :) Just be sure that you watch it Thursday night because it will be GOOD. :)

well you guys were buzy here this weekend i see.....

Saturday morning - i managed to wake up and get the gym. (i was late for the class i wanted to go to originally so i decided to read my new Good HKPing issue and rode eliptical for 45 minutes. that and they had changed one of the tv's to Law and Order so i listened to that too on my FM/Mp3. I can multi-task like that.

I then did another half hour of machines on the floor for arms and legs and back.

On the way home, i had to take some stuff the farm for DD camping weekend. (She forgot her bathing suit and she was supposed to bring rolls and milk.)

Last night, DH and i went downtown in Frederick. They have a walking ghost tour in the city and we've been wanting to go but DD never did. (Town was founded late 1700's so lots of history, ghosts, whatever...) Glad DD wasn't with us because she would have been complaining about the walking the whole time. (it was only about 1.5 miles.) Before our tour we ate at Brewers Alley. (they make their own beer.) DH had a couple brews :drinking1 and we shared a plate of nachos (they do them with chicken, cheese, beans, tomatoes, and sour cream.) so dinner cost us less than $20.

Today we picked up DD and went to IKEA store (i think it's called Laurel, MD over there). I got some stuff, held off buying some stuff, and now have an x-mas list of ideas for DH. (no easy fete)

also went to Aldi's in Hyattsville while we were one that side of town. Yes it's in a very terrible neighborhood but they don't have any other ones terribly near us. (there are some up north in PA but at least an hour or so north.)

The food was great - the pastry was better!

Unfortunately, we did not go to the dance this year . . .

John1

(When I first read the post, I thought it said "Geek" Festival :rotfl2: )

Hey John1 - Can you bring me some real baklava? I had some way back in the late 80's when we lived in Italy. My Dad worked for NATO and there was some kind of international bazaar. I remember going to the Greek booth and getting baklava and I still remember it to this day it was so good. :)

Well guys, I know not everyone has the time or the opportunity to check in on the DIS Geek Challenge, but I will give you the current standings . . .

In first place on weight loss is Kathy . . . Kath1210 with a loss of 1.7551%

In second place is Brandi . . . Klineyqueen with a loss of .5618%

Bringing up the rear (so to speak) are John1 and Diana . . . Dsharpe, with no change at all.

Two of us reported exercise times: :yay:

John1 . . . 3.75 hours (almost all walking)

Brandi comes in second with 1.5 hours

Diane said she exercised two days and about killed herself, but she did not give me the times! :rotfl2:

Those are the standings for this week! It's never too late to join in, and send me your email reports for next week's update . . .

John1

I forgot to weigh in this weekend although I don't think the results will be good enough to even get me in the top 5! :teeth:

I need to do less of this....

Dear Aunt PJ -

Two boys being shipped as we speak. Please pick them up at your airport in 8 hours. Baths are optional. You may return next week when school starts. Enjoy!

Aunt PJ - I have one of each I can send your way and I won't even make you sent them back. We will pick them up when we are ready to have them back. I am sure that will happen someday... :rolleyes1

John, I will be starting the challenge next week when the kids are in school. :)

Well we ended up going bowling. That way quite the adventure. DS kept throwing the ball so slowly it would end up stopping halfway down the lane! :lmao: DD just wanted to play and she was being a real pain the you-know-what because she wanted to play with all the bowling balls (she loves balls for some reason). The computer would not keep score correctly and occasionally it would give you a 3rd chance at a frame or something silly like that. We just had to pay for shoe rental and the one game we played was free so I guess for $12 it was not a bad way to spend about 90 minutes. :teeth:

After that we went to TRU to see what kind of booster seats they had in stock. DS is really running out of room in the backseat when he is in the car seat so we figured it was time to upgrade. Of course while we were there DS was begging for everything in site. DD ended up getting a Cinderella ball (she does love balls...) and DS got a green Power Ranger action figure. I also ended up getting DS one of those wet suits with the flotation stuff inside for $4.98. It is a Finding Nemo one and it was regular $19.99. I also ended up getting DD some new water sandals on sale for $4.10.

After TRU we went to dinner at Chevy's. I had one margarita but it was not enough! DD and DS both were just being real pains and DD in particular made me wish I had a few more drinks. :sad2: By the end of dinner DH and I were once again thinking that there is no way we are going to be able to handle both these kids of the cruise - especially at dinner every night. I probably should not link our dining and request another rotation so I won't be so embarrassed when my kids ruin everyone's evening. :sad2:

I guess it is just me.... Maybe I should have a snack...

I guess I will just have to get to 15,500 by myself....

Becka,

I am here now and aunty PJ you can't have mine today, she has been a jewel! I just love those days! Becka, I was worried about DD last year on the cruise, but oh my was I impressed. We did take coloring books and crayons to dinner, that helped, but I think she was overwhelmed by all of the servers and head waiters etc...
