V - I asked this same question earlier. I was thinking the same as you - go to a beach. Is the port village worth going to/shopping in??
Lisa said they were going back to the ship for lunch and pool time after the tour.

The food is good enough at Palo to sop but if I did that I would probably end up on a DIS thread about uncomfortable dining experiences at Palo.

This one time in Palo there was this big mouthed redheaded chick who SOPPED her 5 star Palo cuisine!!!! The horror! As if that was not bad enough she kept talking about bananas and coconuts during her meal. Can you imagine? Does DCL not have standards anymore to let such a person not only get on the ship but then to let then eat in Palo on formal night!!!!

But was she wearing flip flops?

They have us set up for the 10am shuttle to the port. I'm just hoping the shuttle over is as painless and not a Chinese fire drill.

I recommend that you are in front of the hotel with your bags at 9:30 and stalk the guy with the clipboard when he shows up to make sure that your n name is on the first shuttle.
