Back to iPods...what are those little stick things. Are they preloaded music or podcasts that you just stuck in your iPod?
I know the disney MP3 players have them...the ones for the kids.

I had to look up the Disney players to see what you were talking about . . .

Apparently the Disney MP3 players can take a "stick" that has pre-recorded music or stories on it from Disney. These would NOT work with an ipod. The Disney players also have a slot for memory expansion, but even the least formidable iPod has more memory (other than the 512mb shuffle).

There are lots of other MP3 players out there, but the iPod has 70% of the sales and the business. It is the easiest to use, and along with iTunes, makes for a seamless experience.

but our appetizer is fresh pineapple from the yard...OMG they are SOOO fragrant!!

We got a couple movies tonight from Netflix....Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Val "hottie" Kilmer) and Find Me Guilty. There is apparantly nothing on tonight so hopefully when the princesses go to bed we can watch something.

I hope that DH will be coming home soon. He is at the office working on his project for their final presentation next week. I am trying to make dinner but the kids are attacking each other so I can't leave the room. UGH!

John, I also did go with a digital one, but it is griffin. This one connect via the dock connector and that is what seems to make for a better function.

Nope. I actually found it when I was looking for my bowling smilie. I kept it around because I just knew I would be able to use it someday!

Ok, my mom is going for a new job, at the downtown campus very close to me. Actually at the next building over. It would mean a raise and her current department would have to pay out approx. 25 vacation days. So she is hoping that if this happens to come on the cruise with me this December, there goes my week of peace and quite, maybe.

DS doesn't use all of his track at one time...we have the same problem. He does run it all over the floors but it is ALWAYS in my living room!!!! I just told DH that I would like it moved to DSs bedroom. Eliza is crawling and pulling herself up...so I hear....Mama...get Eliza away please. Mama she is at Thomas... ELIZA YOU ARE TOO SMALL!!!...you get the picture. It is becoming a PITB!

We don't have Thomas stuff but DS has a Geotrax set with a million pieces that also take up my whole living room! We had the same problem when Allie started crawling. She really liked the train set and Nathan did not want her near it. It still causes problems because Allie likes to tear up track he has put together, etc.. It is a real PITB!

DS wants an iPod but not because of school but because he really loves mine. I sometimes let him listen to it with me. I have one earbud and he takes the other. He likes to listen to the cover Rascal Flatts did of Life Is A Highway for Cars.

I think we will get him a cheap MP3 player (not an iPod) for Christmas and pre-load it up with some of his favorite music.
