I have a recipe for a microwave cake that turns out really good in a stoneware bundt pan (Pampered chef, of course!) 14 minutes to chocolate goodness... mmmm (I'm craving cake tonight so I am probably going to go whip one up).

Some one else posted about the apple cores. We give our dog, Lexi, cored apples. She loves them.. We started giving them to her when she was in that nipping puppy stage and we found that a nice hard, cold apple satisfied her chewing needs. I think it felt good on her teeth. now she jsut likes them.

Again, we do core the apple because I too thought the seeds were not good for them.

I was just reading something about this and it said that starting with the MED cruises a service charge would start being charged per person to the room charge at the start of the cruise that would replace the tipping. It said this was being done becasue Europeans are more used to service charges than to tipping.

Amy, I am talking about legitimate info. I found the post that the rebooking bonus for the transatlantic cruises are included in the cost. As for the rest of the info... I seriously doubt it.

Yes we do!!! We have over 500 plants currently and many have fruited more than once....I was previously told they would only fruit once.....with Dh managing a grocery store he used to always bring home the "tops" which you simply twist in some dirt (not plant) and viola! We didn't get fruit for two years but now that most all have fruited and with the apple cores we get yearly fruit...along with some stealers!!
DH is the green thumb - I stick with my orchids....our yard consists of mostly frangipanai (plumeria - what they make lei's out of in Hawaii) Right now they are stunning! Lots of pineapples - including some Jamaician and Hawaiian ones....and various fruit trees....DH loves trying anything to get growing!


Get this - remember I said we were sitting down to watch the Family Stone...well BAAAAMM - a cannon shot - and zap - the power went out. FPL finally came out and a squirrel got himself (or herself) fried....luckily it was fixed before 9pm! I thought the movie was cute....

We did the pinapple plantation tour in Antigua on the 10 day 2004 Cruise. It was very, very interesting. They do grow two fruits, they said the first takes 18 months to grow and then about half that time to grow the second. Then the plant dies. They send off a shoot after the second that you can break off to start another plant. That was our favorite tour of our DCL trips. Antigua Blacks are the pinapples they grow there. Not enough to export so you have to go there to get them. Yum!

Wow, 500 plants, I am impressed!
