does my French Lover Pierre count?

Well, this morning I spent a fortune! We went and registered Samantha for ballet....I felt like I was getting an apartment...they wanted first and last and a deposit!! Classes start Thursday though so we went and bought ballet shoes, four leotards and four tights....lucky girl! I really really like this studio, they have some very accomplished staff members...I can't wait until she is older and can take musical theatre, lyrical, modern, etc! We got home and she tried on her leotards and started dancing around the room!

We are getting ready to head to our football predraft....so I probably won't make it back here tonight!

Have fun!

Trust me V, this is only the beginning . . . I used to think baseball was bad for DS - Bats are cheaper than ballet!

Remember, you may have two weddings to pay for too . . .

John

Well, everybody must be as busy as I was - or else our talkers all went away for the weekend.

Beautiful weather here. We are going to the "Official" HOF fireworks here in Downtown Canton tonight. Amy may stay home to keep you all company.

Tomorrow, we have the HOF game - Eagles and Raiders. We'll be on the opposite side of the stadium from the press box - so you could even see us on TV! I'm thinking about 10 yard line, about halfway up the stands.

Should I take a sign and try to get on TV?

How about :disrocks: ?

Or           ?

Afraid if I do any of that, DS will DISown me, and leave the game.

Don't think I am going to try for 59 more posts right now though . . .

:bored:

Girls! :sad2: We raised two of them. Two weddings 10 months apart! I think there should be some kind of law that requires them to be at least a year apart. :sad2:

You absolutely are Angie! (kids at heart that is) :thumbsup2

Oh birth stories....mine were all fast and easy with 3 big (8 lb or more) healthy babies. With my second I spoke to my neighbor in the laundy room of the apartments where we lived at 5 pm and when Dennis called her a few minutes after 6 pm to tell her we had another little girl she accused him of pulling her leg because "she had just seen me in the laundry room!" :lmao: First indication I was in labor was when my water broke at 5:05 (no pains yet) and she was born (barely made it to the hospital) at 5:55. The other two gave me a bit more warning with some mild back labor for a couple of hours.

DrHug was not able to be in the delivery room with our first because she was born WAY BACK when Daddies waited in the waiting room, smoked, drank coffee and ate soup while Mommies did all the work alone. :rotfl: With our second there was not time for him to get to the delivery room before she was born. He was still filling out the paperwork when she was born. With our third he was in the delivery room and his glasses got really, really fogged up when his new son grabbed his little finger. AAAAHHHH!

Yep. ::yes:: ::yes:: But we are looking forward to the retirement checks and social security in a couple of years! Will give us more time to play! :teeth:

I think I am going to have to go buy more apples. I made two apple pies for tomorrow, but DrHug is REALLY wanting a piece (or two!) today. I told him they smell REALLY good and he said he does not even want to smell them if he can't have some. :sad2: So, if I get more apples it won't take but a few minutes to throw another together. He is SOOOOOO spoiled!

I do think our posting maniacs :surfweb: are away for the weekend. Kinda :sad2: being here all alone. :surfweb:

Old Humphrey Bogart movies on TCM channel today. Think I will go enjoy some of those with DrHug for awhile. popcorn:: Later. :wave2:

OK guys.... first we have over 1000 posts in one night and now not a one for almost one hour....

What's up with that....

Well, Devon had her Baton/poms competition today.... :cheer2:

the girls did great considering...(considering their baton coach didn't get off his butt and teach them the entire routine until last week. Ugggg :crazy2: )

Devon danced for 7 yrs before she started baton and i can remember that they "knew" their routines no later than February each year. It's just not fair to keep changing stuff until the week before.

For baton, there were only two beginner Junior teams so at least they'll get second.

DD picked the day so as a family we went out to eat, went bowling, played airhockey, pinball, 2 other video sit on the car/skido thing games. Went home and dropped off DH and DD and I went to Target. I said DD could get a little something. Reminded her the condition of playing with it would be after she cleaned her room, 10 minutes later exited Target (with nothing), sent DD upstairs to her room where she proceeded to proclaim "She never gets to do anything. It's not fair" then "I'm running away" DH says "you think she'd tired?!" Uhm yeah I think so.

I've spent the day in my recliner with a heating pad cleaning off this old laptop to make it a wee bit faster. That way I can stay down and keep up. I thought that I'd be hours reading posts but everyone's away. :happytv:

I am going to look at my other threads. See ya later. :surfweb:

TY Marielle for the tips, but there is no way I am going to do that for a whole load of laundry!! :lmao: :lmao: I've washed it once on hot with detergent on Oxyclean. Some came out. Washing in hot again and will see how it is. Some things I know will be thrown out without any more trying. Others, I will have to see if they are even worth the effort. Mostly hand-me-downs in there I believe. Dd has been wanting to go to the mall any way so we will be going Monday. She went to her cousins so I will have to pick her up so will be closer.

We do have another guest, switched cousins. DD will come home to yet another face. He is usually too tired to notice, but it is his birthday so he may be a little bummed Sarah isn't here. She did make him a card.
