You guys are making me talk to myself too. Maybe I can convince myself that I can take a nap with the kids watching Shaggy Dog. :cool1:

LOVE NO food, Becka! :) I miss that the most! Po Boy Sandwiches were fantastic too.

Do you guys bring full size shampoos? The travel ones are never enough but I hate lugging full size ones everywhere and then have to lug it home again.....any suggestions? Do they sell mid size anywhere?

I've read that some people bring 1/2 used up shampoos, that way they don't have too much and can toss it at the end of the trip. Or you could buy little empty bottle at Target or Walmart, they have sizes that are bigger than travel sized shampoo bottles and just put your shampoo and conditioner in them yourself.

Well, I'm going to round up the kids and head to the mall. We don't get there much and D has been bugging out that she needs more shorts. I don't know what we will be able to find now. Imagine, someone wanting to buy summer clothes IN the summer! :lmao: :lmao:

I think I'll try Kohl's first as they seem to have the best clothes for her size.
Later!

Isn't it great when you actually get to go grocery shopping without the kids? I don't get to do it very often but sometimes I just want to hug the shopping cart - or anything around me - I know, simple pleasures!

I love shopping without the kids. It makes life a little less stressful. But you know what's bad? When I am shoppping without them if I hear someone else's kid say "Mom" or something I always stop and look around thinking it's one of my kids and then I remember I'm alone.

This may be a stupid question... But is there anywhere near WDW to rent a car? Like really close? :confused3 I'm debating whether I should get the ground transports to WDW but I don't want them from WDW to the Port because I'd like to make a stop to pick up bottled water and gatorade for the kids and I'm assuming there's nowhere to do that if we use ground transports and don't rent our own car.

Or... is there a store that carries stuff like that (cases of bottled water, soda) somewhere in DTD?

Forgive me for being clueless. This is my first trip there.

Hi all, I have not read anything yet, but I wanted to tell you that the bands are here! I love them! The glow in the dark writing is not as easy to see as regular writing, but better than just an emboss and of course will glow in the dark...

Here are the sizes:
Childs 6 inches
Medium 7.5 inches
Large 8.25 inches

On my wrist, and keep in mind here that I am 5'9" and wear a size 10 shoe, the medium is loose around my wrist. Not a lot, but not at all tight. I currently have counts and sizes from the following people:

Waltsgirl
Pjpoohbear
Lbgraves
Goofyforlife
BuzzBoyMom
Pyramid 2000
Becka
Brack

Tynkerbell, I think I saw yours, but I had not gone back yet to put you on the list.

If anyone wants to change sizes or confirm now, just let me know. I will put the cost of shipping on later today when I get a chance...

FYI for those of you who are new. All my info comes from Lisa's site, so if you are not listed there, get on soon.

Talk to you all later!

Kim

Thanks for posting the sizes, Kim. I was wondering whether DS needed the child size or not since he has small wrists. I just measured his wrist and he wants the regular size (medium) so can you reserve all mediums for my family (6 bracelets total if kids get 2), please. I'll send a SASE as soon as you weigh them. We'd like to be able to wear them at WDW before the cruise. :)

More on wristbands:

They are NOT very stretchy. Keep in mind they have to get over your hand and I cannot even come close on the kid size. If you cannot get that size over your hand without stretching, pick the next size up. Only little little ones should be getting the child size. I have not tried DD yet, she is at the pool with friends.

The postage in a ready post 5"x8.25" cushion mailer is $1.11 for 7 bracelets and .87 cents for 3. You should be able to judge from that what your SAS should have on it.

I am e-mailing Lisa my address right now, and it is a business address so Lisa you can post it on the website.

Let me know if anyone has any other questions!

Thanks!

Kim

Now for the chat...

Caroline. I am so sorry! Family situations like that can just suck the life right out of you!

Lisa, of course I want to hear about the latest fight between DD and DS! It is actually very entertaining!

I bring average bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Mostly for DD who will use the entire bottle of conditioner in one week because her hair is so long and she will spend so much time in the water. Literally, those little ones last a day and they are never very good... So, to avoid screaming during hair brushing, she gets a really good condition often...

I've printed out that ultimate packing list and am trying to cross off things I know we won't use....duct tape for one....and I plan on picking up little things at WM between now and Dec...helps on the pocketbook and it's fun to start collecting now!

We pack full size. Although we do compromise and bring only one kind instead of a different set for each of us.

OMG! I am the same size. I might have an inch on you. You look so petite in your picture.

Put us down for 3 M and 1 L. I'll get the SASE out ASAP.

I bring one kind for all of us...DH is easy - he uses whatever I buy!

I just ordered his cake - mint chocolate chip ice cream cake from Publix with Orange and Blue icing!! :) He'll get a kick out of that! I guess we'll go out to dinner and then home for cake!

Kim, do you have a personal paypal account? That would be an easy way for people to send you the money online too.

Here is a post with the info you need for Budget. :)

I believe there is still a car rental (Budget maybe) at the Swan resort near Epcot. You can easily drop-off/pick-up there but I don't know about returning at the port. You can get there by using WDW transportation.

Goodings across from DTD has them, but for the same price as normal sized ones, lol.

I got a little 2in1 for around $3. It was I think 175 ml or so.
