By the same token, the people at my Kinko's are usually on stupid pills and I'm not trusting them with my green shirts.

Oh I almost forgot. I like the idea of knowing who is where on the ship in the newsletter but the paranoid Mommy in me is hesitant to want our names and kids ages/pictures out there. I know everyone would be careful but if a copy was lost and the wrong type of person picked it up you just never know. I am just not sure I want it advertised....

Then again I guess I am a hypocrite because that info is already on the website.

On the Magic last year we & our friends wore lime green Dis shirts with our dis names ironed on them. We may not have the exact same shirts as you this time, but our group will most likely be in lime green.

By the way the iron on design is great, and getting better!

Becka, I'm real weird about my kids names and pictures as well. DH and I won't ever let our kids get personalized t-shirts for that reason.

Ok over 70 pages while I was gone...I read through about 15.....we just got back and my DD box was here...DH didn't say too much about the lime green shirts. Not that he really has too much choice in the matter.

Well Sanibel was great - the home we stayed in was GORGEOUS! 2 story on a canal and butting up to the bay. I didn't want to leave. Samantha loved the pool and it makes me more anxious for ours to get finished. She is very very brave and I worried all night long she would get up and go swimming alone. The whole bottom floor out to the pool was sets of 3 door glass sliders. Very open and nice - I came home with lots of remodeling ideas!

I think if we go with the DCL logo on the design there should be a solid border in a different color, like Becka suggested. Otherwise we still have the whole matching green issue to deal with.

Maybe a blue border with red mickey heads ...the colors of DCL logo ..or a dcl logo border ????

Well, I saw this & started working on it...and more has been posted since but here goes.

PJ > The rope is just one of the borders in my graphis program. I can try to put it on a blank collage & send it to you.

Todd > I am thinking that we need a solid border to completely cut off the iron on green & shirt green so that the difference isn't as obvious. I did think of the DCL logo but then thought that it was too much of a good thing & detracted from the center design. The small Mickey heads are there but don't stand out.

Yes, I am using the last one that PJ sent me since I have to convert it to a file that I can work with. I am waiting to do that until we have it finished.

Becca, the website is only for the people who participate in our thread...so it isn't out there for everyone to see. The numbers viewing it aren't crazy so we are fine.

Not at all, becka, that is why it would be done only if all were ok with it, just an idea at this time. What other alternatives could I do;

Becca, the website is only for the people who participate in our thread...so it isn't out there for everyone to see. The numbers viewing it aren't crazy so we are fine.

I know you are not just giving our the site info which is one reason why the info is there. However, it is the Internet so you just never know. I guess I figure the odds of someone finding the website and deciding to book that cruise because of it is pretty slim.

However, having a "roster" while on the boat that anyone on the ship could pick up makes me more nervous. I don't have a problem with just our first names and stateroom numbers but I really am not sure I am comfortable with pictures and ages of my kids. KWIM?

ITA with the pictures & ages. I know that I will be taking a print out of our rooms & names. It is the only way for us to deliver the goodies to those who aren't at the meets too. Of course, someone could just follow the green shirt people & track us down.

What a downer of a subject, huh? It makes me mad that I even have to think that way.

DH is out with the guys this afternoon. DD is napping and DS is running around playing Power Rangers. I should be doing laundry, picking up the living room, etc.. but here I am. This place is way too addictive!

You have to be smart, Becka. I do have one shirt for each of the kids that has their name on it but it looks like it is part of the design...Buzz for DS & the princesses for DD. I will be tucking in the arms & making them into pillows for their rooms eventually.

PJ, I think that we need the first names for everyone in the group. It will help me to be able to look at the list & tell DD that X, Y, & Z will be in the club when we are at Palo because their mom & dad will be with us. A bunch of DDs or DSs doesn't reassure her as much.

I do have t-shirts with the kids names on them but that does not both me as much as giving both a name and a specific location at the same time. I guess I try not to be too paranoid but at the same time I don't want to make it too easy for someone to find my kids.

Oh...and we need the room numbers too. If we need to call & leave a message for someone that works so much better. It happened to us last cruise when the wine & cheese had to be moved. I just called & left messages on the room phones.
