You guys are killing me!! :lmao:

Since Brandi and I obviously present some kind of safety hazard I would be willing to let Lisa contact her people and have me given a complimentary upgrad to the Walt Suite. I think DH and the kids would be safe on Deck 2 so you can leave them down there!!!! ;) I would do this just for you guys just so there is not a potential cosmic catastrophe on Deck 2. I am always thinking of others....it is so hard! :teeth:

You might want to rethink that...remember I'm having buttons made that says, "If lost, return me to Cabin XXXX" and that XXXX will be replaced by the cabin number of the highest category this group gets. Right now Kim gets all of us returned to her!!

You are so generous to be willing to make that sacrafice for everyone, Becka! :lmao:

OK...am I the only one who didn't know who Anderson Cooper's mother is???

That's OK. Without the kids there I am much more sane and hospitable!!! Except you had better put some other room number on Brandi's - you would not want her to get returned to my room. Think of the consequences.... :lmao:

Lisa - I have no idea who Anderson Cooper's mother is! :confused3

I ask this question, not to be mean, but as an honest reality check.... Do people really think it is okay to ask the CMs to sign so many pillowcases? I mean what ever happened to being reasonable for such a nice thing that they do...for free! Geez....yeah, I could use about 100 of them so I could sell them on ebay. Okay, sorry...stepping away from the keyboard...

Goodness! You do need an intervention!!! ;) First of all....the CMs don't sign the pillowcases....the CHARACTERS do. :goodvibes Where did you see this getting so out of hand?

I had planned on having the characters sign a bowl of plastic fruit for me. I was going to give Kim the banana and Todd the coconut! :lmao:

I KNOW you think I'm making this up....but I went to OMPH Grades 1-6. My parents belonged there throughout their lives until about 5 years ago when they moved to Florida. Did your grandmother go to the little old brown church or the new one? I can still remember the smell as we'd go to church on Friday mornings and they would be making subs (with onions!!) in the basement. OMPH is my alma mater.

AND.....

UNBELIEVABLE....
we now are parishoners at St.Joe's. Both sons go to school there. Yowza!!!

And the other church your probably thinking of is St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton???

Actually just looked up the church: St. Katherine Drexel was their last parish... but the Elizabeth Seton parish is near where we lived before that.

Now, Ephrata & OMPH. That's FREAKY! I mostly remember going to the old church, but was there a newer parish hall/church??? OK, keep in mind that I go back to the 1980s... Grandmother died about 15 years ago, and was in a retirement home in Camp Hill for awhile before that.
We always walked to church with my Grandmother--she lived just down the street, on the corner of Terrace Ave.
My cousin Colleen used to be a crossing guard for OMPH school. Unfortunately, she had breast cancer and passed away about 12 years ago.

Here's something else to freak you out: my sister (who will be on the cruise) used to work for Donecker's in marketing. DD13 was even in the catalogs as a baby!

I do hope they don't discontinue the signings. We had a mat done last year and I was hoping to do a mat as well as a pillowcase each for both of the girls this year.

If not, I guess I can always drag around those pillowcases to the parks! Or just have my sister do them all! ;)

I have Oprah on while I am cleaning the room and they were taking about tomorrow's show. His brother killed himself in front of their mother. They showed her and I looked up just as Oprah said her name.

Something funny, huh?

Well in keeping with the twins and mammogram parties here is a story for you.

This morning I pulled out one of my favorite bras and I noticed that one of the little prongs was bent. I complained to DH about it and asked if he could fix it. He let me know that I didn't have to wear a bra at all but that he could just follow me around and do the job instead. Don't I have such a "supportive" DH? :rotfl2:

Boy that was a really, really bad joke. Not as bad as smelly poop but I guess it will have to do for now. :)

You all know I don't feel well and DD took 1 3/4 hours to get to sleep last night so I just threw my clothes on the floor and you know what? The dog ate my bra. I am not kidding. No more hooky things or anything, just shreds...

Gloria Vanderbilt

I'm reading his book right now. I knew who about his mom but didn't know the thing about his brother until I just read it. Chilling. Plus his dad died when Anderson was 10.

Did you go back to bed this morning after finding that?

No, but everything seems really sad today after the bra thing. At 7-11 they overcharged me by 33 cents and I was just to tired to fight them, then they put mayo on my tuna sandwich. Who puts mayo on tuna, there is already mayo in tuna. It was such a dissapointment. Then I decided maybe it's the steroids and they are making me crazy. Of course if DH were home, he could tell me that I should not be so upset over the overcharging of my Diet Coke refill, but he is not so it took me all day to figure it out..

So I am going to the fair tonight with DD and have a pity party for myself. I will be having an entire carmel apple this evening and I will not feel guilt.

Whew, I sound whiney... Sorry!

Kim

Have a great time at the fair! :) You deserve it after that day.

Anderson Cooper is one of the people I would believe almost anything he said. He proved himself to be a good person last year during the Katrina disaster and he confronted the politicians with real questions.

Go for it! And find some more yummy fair food!

I received my bracelets from Kim today. They look great! I love them and so do my kids! DS was all excited and screaming "These are so cool!!" :thumbsup2 Thanks Kim! :teeth:

Is there talk about the pillowcase signings being discontinued? I hope not, I made pillowcases for DS and DD to be signed. I'll be really bummed if they don't do it anymore.

Yes, Oh Empress! I didn't mean SIGN, I meant CARRY THEM to the characters who have to sign them.

There's a thread out there asking about having one signed for Godchildren and grandchildren and on and on....I'm sure I'm just having a bad day and an innocent post struck a bad vibe....the signing thing is such a nice little thing they do.

I guess that I missed that one. They aren't going to accept but so many at GS. That is overdoing it a bit!

Oh please do that!!!! It would be too funny. See - that doesn't seem absurb, but 8 t shirts do! Go figure!!!! I'm warped.

Oh Marielle - I loved Doneckers!!! My old first love used to work at the restaurant. His sister was a server...and I think a managers...and her boyfriend was (is?) a chef there. You'll have to ask your sister if she knows a Heidi or Greg Grant from the restaurant.

I just love this... popcorn:: it's like a family reunion.

It really is the 7 degrees of dis!
