Everyone just left last night with a pirate so close, so I had to get there myself (even if I had to do it with my mess-up post!)

Angie, it sounds to me like you are being just what they need to help right now.

My first thought was that it was good that she was visiting them. Where does she live? Would she have been alone and not found for a while? Maybe this is one of those things that happen for a reason and God didn't want her to be at home alone.

She lives a couple of hours away on the Oregon Coast. She lives with a boyfriend. Her doctor was local here (she had breast cancer about 3 years ago) so when she would have a check up she would stay with the kids for 4 or 5 days to visit. DD said things are always the way they are supposed to be, her husband was not home to find her, grand daughter was with me so she did not get up and find her. I think they are doing much better today. DD said she had a hard time sleeping last night, but they did stay in their home. Today was a viewing at the mortuary and shopping for the celebration of her life that the kids are planning for tomorrow.

I baked a peach/blueberry cobbler for DrHug tonight. Now he's a happy man! Think I'll go dish us up some while it's still hot and put some vanilla ice cream on it. YUM!

I spent a bunch of time this afternoon and ended up with 3 big boxes of clothes for our neighborhood garage sale next Saturday. Now I just have to price them. Don't you just love pricing?

We had a fun camping trip and enjoyed seeing Aaron. We came home night before last and had a bad day yesterday. Our DD and DSIL had his mom visiting with them for a few days and yesterday DD found her dead on the bathroom floor. She was only 58 and had no apparent illness, but the police said it was apparent that she had died immediately as her hands were not out to break her fall. (maybe anuersym or stroke, hopefully autopsy will tell) Poor SIL is just distraught and DD also. They were not able to stay in their home last night and DD said she does not know how she will go back into that bathroom because she just keeps seeing the scene again. DSIL would not even go into the house at all. They stayed at our house - in the Van on Steroids - last night and are taking care of the necessary details with his brother and sisters today. We are just so sad for them. DSIL is our family "rock", but yesterday he was just a mess and allowed Dennis and I to just take care of him. This is so out of character for him. DGD was with me when I got the call from DD so I had to share the news with her I called Dennis to come from work, then went to their house and turned DGD and DSIL over to Dennis to take to our house while I stayed to help DD deal with the police, mortuary and such. Sad, sad, sad. We had 12 or so of DSIL's family over for dinner last night so they could be together and grieve a bit. We just feel so helpless and don't know how to make it better.

Brack - what is HDRI?

It stands for High Dynamic Range Image. The image is made from several images taken at different exporsures trying to get as much detail in the whole photo. Photoshop then takes the best of each image and makes one image with the most detail possible. Some of the images that I have seen are spectacular.
