Well guys after looking at over 20 houses yesterday I have found THE house of my dreams. Now I just need to wait for Mike to get home from CA, go see it Saturday morning and agree with me that it is just what we need. Also, everyone else needs to stay away from MY house!!! If we get the contract signed on Saturday we will close on 9/7. WHOO HOOO!!!

We just had 3 days of Teacher Inservice. Last night was our open house. It was a mob scene!!!! We opened our brand new school. We not only had all of the kids but we had loads of tax payers looking at the place. It is a beautiful school. I my room.

Our first day of school is on Monday. I think it will be so confusing because the school is huge. It will take a while to work out the kinks. I can't wait!!!!

So I need to know the truth here guys....if you went away on a business trip but had been driving around with your family looking for a house and knew the price and area you wanted to move to...would you be upset if you came home and your wife told you that she had the house for you to look at and you could place an offer in the morning and close on 9/7?

No, but that would NEVER happen with Amy. She can't make a decision on what to eat at Wendy's drive through - I'm the one who would be doing something like this, and Amy would be OK.

I guess that I could tell him that I have saved him having to spend hours driving around in the heat looking at stinky vacant houses. I REALLY want him to come home before dark tonight so that we can go see it. The realtor said we could call until 10.

Lisa, we wouldn't have a problem... you see, when we were moving from Richmond to Philly, I found "the" house on a hunting trip with my dad (Trey had to work), drove back and we made the offer that day without him seeing it until closing.

Dennis would want to see it, but he wouldn't be upset that I had looked without him, ruled out the "no way" places, and found one that was perfect.

Well, the house I thought was it is out and we are looking at a much nicer one. Mike just needs to get a figure he is comfy with and call it in today or tomorrow. We may end up doing a lease back for the house since they live in it though. I am wondering if a water bill will be enough to prove residence to register the kids? I will pay their water bill...about $30 a month...to get the kids in the school Tuesday.
