pjpoohbear said:Kim, I live Toronto, Ontario. Other Canadians think that we think we are the centre of the Canadian Universe, but that is just not true, lol. Think a city the size of New York City, with about 5 million people, finance centre, theaters, great restaurants, and three universities, and half a dozen junior colleges (we call them community college.) And best of all we have 5 Disney Stores, lol.

I went to check the site like Lisa said and it cracked me up! I am in a small class. There are only 13 grad students. My DH asked me what I am going to do next. Who knows. With the requirements in education for continuing classes I am sure I will enroll in a new program. I can't see taking a bunch of classes that mean nothing. I feel like I should be working toward a goal! I am just not sure what my next goal will be.kimerinc said:Well, ummm. We own a research company, but DH and I teach classes at the university as a guest lecturer and adjunct professor when we have quarters we are available...
Is everyone laughing a lot now? Good thing it is not my full time job huh...

You need 24 credits your first 7 years teaching. I have that done. Then you need 6 credits every 5 years. I am taking the set of 6 credits. That makes 30 and completes my masters program. I will have a few years before I need to worry about classes again. My DH was just wondering what I will do next. Honestly, I don't know but like I said, I want to do something productive!lbgraves said:When are you going to have to take more classes, Brandi? I don't see how they expect teachers to do as much as they require for as little as they pay.

Are you serious?kimerinc said:It is so cold in the winter there, they can't spill any water when they feed the ducks and chickens or thier feet will freeze to the ground. If the cows give birth in the winter, they have to clean them off immediatly or thier tails fall off. She works really hard!
