I just spent 3.5 hours in class now I have about 60 pages to read and a bunch of questions to answer. I am as bad as a little school kid - I don't feel like doing my homework! I guess I better just do it. I don't have anyone who will do it for me....bummer ;) .

I just cracked myself up! My 3 year old always says "BUMMER" when something doesn't make him happy. My DH always says "Hmmmm, I wonder where he got that." I was always saying that it was him. He says "I don't think so." I think I just proved that I am the culprit. Oh well. I could have taught him something much more horrible to say than bummer! :rotfl:

Hey Brandi,
I'm joining the procrastination club with you (actually, I've always been a member...) I should be folding laundry, but DD8 wanted me to help her learn to knit this morning, so I had to read her instructions to teach her, and now I'm hooked on this project! And last week she wanted me to help with the crocheting she learned from her Nana, so I had to learn that and started a blanket! Now I have more crafts started than I will finish! Then I stopped and instead of housework while DS is sleeping, I'm on the DISboards. Hmmm. What other distractions can I find?

Ahhh... had to look that one up but it is a little different than Motrin. It's active drug is Meloxicam. If i read all the side effects i'd be scared to take it.

They had many precautionaries for people with heart issues or family history of heart issues. Did your Dr. know that when they prescribed?

(i know you expressed concern before when you had tests done.)

It is that doctor who gave it to me to help me relax from the anxiety. My neck has been in knots ever since & sometimes I just can't get comfortable even in my sleep.

When we got back from Target our shirts were here and so was my pirate shirt!!! I LOVE it! It is nice & light fabric so I shouldn't be too hot.

I expect my shirts tomorrow. DD woke up from her nap a little while ago and had a bottle. I of course felt the urge to check the board before DH comes home from work. He will be watching the DKids while I study. I read for an hour. Too bad my class is called Educational Assessment and not Disney Education!!!!

LOL! We would all have degrees in Disneyology if they did. ;) I have been cleaning upstairs. I am in the middle of DS's room. I got tired of skipping it when I am vacuuming upstairs. I did get a couple shelves for his lego creations today at Target. They are the neat ones that don't have the supports under them. The blue matches Buzz's blue great! Back to work! If we don't get washed away we will be hitting kid's night at CFA. I did that a couple times when DH was gone & the kids really enjoyed it.

Just got back from shopping...

Target - in the $1 section at front of store had some round dry erase boards with markers attached - white with black, turquoise, or lime green trim on border - perfect for the doors!!

Kohl's - lots of clearance clothes that would work for pirate night (flowing skirts, peasant skirts and blouses) - most marked another 70% off clearance pricing

Thanks DSharpe,
Now I'll have to hit Kohl's for a top. I found a great pirate-ish skirt on clearance at Target last week.

LOVE Kohl's but it is 1 1/2 hours away so I have to hit the online sales. Still do well at times. :)

We will probably bring the new stroller we bought when we went to WDW this May. Sophia is starting to get too big for a stroller, but we bought a pretty HD umbrella stroller that still "folded up" to a manageable size.

Without that stroller, she still thinks she is daddy's little baby that Daddy can pick up anytime she is tired - at more than 60lbs, daddy's back can't take it anymore, and she just does not understand. I can't imagine her attitude if she had to do all the walking at WDW that we do!

I have to look at the web site, and not sure if Lisa has this posted, but we decided to do MVMCP on the 7th - (Thursday) too late to be out the night before the cruise. Sophia will probably keep us there until close to midnight, and it will be our only visit to MK this time - in May she kept me at MK one night until 2:00 am. BTW - also checked about eating at LTT and it is TOTALLY booked that ENTIRE night!

The shirts came and Amy says they are BIG - I said good, so am I :) . She says Sophia's will look like a dress.

Did you see that the customized POC shirts that V listed can be ordered in LIME?????? pirate:

John

Hey John - we are also doing MVMCP on the same night as you. We are arriving that day and will have a very early morning and a very late night. We had the same thought that it will be a late night and we don't want to be out that late the night before the cruise!

Wow, a successful searching day online... haven't actually spent any money yet. Searched Kohl's online and saw a possible pirate top (but will go to the store to see it live--I'm luckier than Lisa and only live 10 minutes from Kohl's). Searched sewing patterns for something to modify into Captain Feathersword and found one (including "boots") for DS3's Halloween and Pirate night costume. Saw a thread on the regular cruise board that answered my question about little girls wearing their princess dresses to dinner--that's what DD8 wants to do and it sounds like others do it, too (I made her Belle's yellow dress--she's wearing it in the photo on our group's website).

Oh, and the laundry's not folded yet.

I think that PJ is doing that night at MK too. I have added a few things to the site.

Bad news about the Mickey tie. :( It said that it was 12 1/2 inches long but is only 11 1/4. That is a big difference on DS. I haven't seen it on him yet but we will have to see.

I was worried about the shirts running big this year. We have ordered them for the past two years. My small still fits the same. :) I didn't get the XS for DD but it will tuck in this year & fit her better next year.

The MVMCP plans that have been posted lately.

Here is the design that Kim has gotten approved for the bracelets!!! They are lime green with glow in the dark writing that you can also see quite well during the day.

Lisa/John, I haven't bought my MVMCP yet, but with what I want to see, I think I am going to go on the 5th Tuesday, the day I fly in to MCO. I will get a DVC discount, so it make that day really reasonable. Plus, it will be a somewhat quiet night. I also secured a ADR for CP that night, and I haven't been there for my last three trips. I have to keep at least one of my original ADR's, lol.
Penny

Kim, the bracelets look GRRREAT! Thank you for doing them!!!!

Pj

Kim - the bracelets are so cool!!! Even those of us in the late seating can be the Kool Kids.

Can't wait to wear one.

Thanks!!!

Suzanne
