It is usually formal night every night in Palo...at least when we go there. Palo has a different dress code from the other dining rooms.

I know they have a different dress code but it is not formal. The recommended was a dress for ladies and a tie/jacket for men...more of a semi-formal. I just was wanting to know if formal night in Palo would also expected ever dressier patrons (i.e. tuxes and gowns).

No - Palo on formal night does not expect/require tuxes and gowns....but that isn't expected/required the regular dining rooms on formal night either. I would dress up for Palo, but don't worry about the tuxes!

What is too funny is that all this posting revived my excitement for cruise prep. So at lunch today, I went out and got my lime green t shirts. Also got some travel games for the kids (sale!!) and some little wood things that were cute that I figured I'd make little door magnets for our room and our friends' room.

No - not first - I've been on several other lines...but our second 7 night DCL. We love DCL.

Ahhhh, I try. I just was talking to her saying we hoped Ariel would be onboard this time. (Sneaky mom here) I said maybe she is too busy at her Grotto to come on the ship. Her reply

But she still has that little twinkle when she sees them. Kinda like she doesn't believe, but she does. Ya know?? *sigh*

Well, Kim now has the highest category on the ship with the DISers...so maybe we can have the DIS wine & cheese in her suite instead of one of the 4s. (You can also order trays of food from concierge for the party. Vanessa can tell you all about that.)

momofmmsd5 also has a 3 with a connecting 4! hmmmmmmmm.

I would so offer up the cabin, but DH would not allow the wine. If that is ok then by all means we will do it! But of course I don't have thoe "other" perks.

Ok, I am really going to start DD's room a bit. I only have 1 1/2 hours before piano lessons, so I can get some moving and spackling done. I want to see the colors on the wall!!

I thought about editing that to make it easier to understand.....per Lisa's site, we can book online IN 75 days...which is 90 days out...I know kinda confusing...but I can't remember what date is the 90 day out mark....or the 75 days from today mark...

BBB??? Does that mean you wont be joining us at Jelly Rolls for the DIS meet? Some of the teens on this cruise are going to be in a room upstairs babysitting the other kiddos. They will have their own DISkid meet before the ship! I bet that will be a first!

Kristina, I could have sworn that is what we talked about at that wacky steakhouse in MD. NO wine & cheese at all! The adults will be meeting down in Jelly Rolls. I can bring some snacks for the kids that night since we are driving down.
