Stinkin' hotter today! Supposed to be 101. However, it will be cooling down into the low 90's tomorrow, 80's Wed and back into the upper 70's by the weekend - or so they say. So this time we had a 3 day heatwave as opposed to the one day heat wave we had about a month ago. These Oregonians crack me up!

Pffft. That's fall weather!

I'm thinking more spa money...... let's see ($25 a week in gas that i'd save times 21 weeks could = $525)

I'd love to do the couples room thing....but would settle for the hot stone massage or beach massage at CC or just rainforest room for a few days.

Guess what.......

Good news.....

I got the job i interviewed for with Frederick County as a Planner.

My 26 mile commute (one-way) will now be 5 miles and my DH and I could share a car (he works about 9 blocks away from the new office).

My current boss is kinda bummed that I'm leaving but I'm trying to keep positive these next two weeks because it's a good thing for me...

I'll have to spend less time with you guys during the day though....

(but I'll check in at night)

Two guys are sitting in a bar. The bar is in the penthouse of a high-rise office building.

One says to the other. “Do you know why they make these buildings so tall? The wind between the buildings causes an updraft. If anyone falls out of the building the draft will catch them and save them.

The second says “No way, I don’t believe it.”

The first says “Watch” and jumps out the window. Sure enough he falls and falls and falls and is finally caught and floats back up to the bar and in the window.

The second says “Wow, I gotta try that!” He jumps, he falls and falls and falls and SPLAT. Right on the sidewalk.

The bartender looks at the first guy and says…..
