Mrs. Mork - we are planning to go the Thursday before the cruise. We are going to get an early flight, hang out at the hotel and rest a bit (kids should nap.) Then we will go to the MVMCP. My husband and I figure if the kids make it to 9:30 or 10:00 then we can push them around in the stroller and do "big rides" while they are zonked.

Lisa - are you doing AK this trip? My son loved all of the animals, he is a bit of an animal junkie!

No AK yet. Not sure when we will try that park out. DS wont go to the 3D show & that is suppose to be a big thing there.

Just another note on MVMCP--you can get in MK at 4pm. When we went that first day, we didn't have to use a day off of our regular passes.

Stacie - You got into the park at 4:00? I thought it wasn't until 6.

Lisa - the movie is a cool thing at AK but the safari is the best - IMO!

We also LOVE AK and have not done any 3D shows there. We love the safari and then walking the trail and looking at more animals, and the train up to where they take care of the animals is very cool. Lots of animal educational stuff there. The Lion King Show was very cool too. We finally got to see it last year. Tarzan Show we were not impressed with, but they discontinued it and will have something new going on now. We usually get to AK at opening and go directly to the Safari. We typically stay there until around 3 pm then head over to Epcot to end the day.

but I hav e been so busy, But guesse I was typing and not paying attention to what I said. It made sence to me when I typed it. It was my Dear Sister that had surgery not Son. I was just trying to let you all know what was up with me. She is doing better now. She had gotten a hole in her liver a week after her gall blatter surgery and it leaked a ton off bile to the outside of her liver. but once they figured it out and put her under the knife again all is getting better. I was at wyatts school in the office doing stuff and the sec from spencers school called and said the doc was trying to get qa hold of me and wanted to see me asap. By the time I made it down the hall I of course was in tears, got there he told me what the ct showed that moring and they were taking her into emer. surgery in 15 min. It was all o.k. thoe. By the time she was out and the doc came to talk to me. My mom and dad were there, my sisters boy friend, my aunt and uncle and anoughter aunt. They had all been at a funerall when my mom got the call, so they all came and sat for 2 hours. other than that not nuch has been going on here but baseball, yarkwork, housework and bike riding. better get I have to go to wyatts class today becouse didn't get to do the store with his class on thursday and the kids want to buy stuff for there good behavior. If we had hoppers, that would work. I think that we prefer to stay at a park that opens early & stays open late. :woohoo:

I could not say it better myself! It is a great park especially if you have the hopper. If I would be paying for only one day that would not be the park I would choose!

I agree, if I were with little ones, had only one park to do, I would choose MK for sure! If I were with adults and/or older kids I would choose Epcot. We bought 10 day never expire hoppers last year so they will last us 3 or 4 years. We have 8 days left on them. :woohoo:

Dear fellow ship-mates,
It is with much sadness that I post this message. We had to cancel our cruise today. Sometimes you just get a run of unfortunate events and we are in one of those runs. Our roof has to be replaced at a cost of $7,000 and the insurance company is only paying $2,700. My dh's 14 year old truck is on its absolute last leg and we need to replace it. We still owe $2,000 on our cruise and we just need the cash. Boo Hoo Hoo

Also, since the time we booked with my sister's family, she and her dh have divorced so I don't know if she will be going on it either.

You guys have fun!

Jennifer, I am sorry we are going to loose you. I am even sorrier you are having a hard time. It sounds like nothing is going right and you need this vacation.

Mum, It's good to know your family is pulling through alright. I was getting a little worried when you dropped that "DS" bomb then fell off the board.

Lisa, Don't be afraid of using MVMCP as your day at MK. Last year you could enter the park early and had time to ride on plenty of rides during the event. Plus, you get to see the Christmas Parade! That's my favorite part! The only thing is I have never done it with little kids. So, I have no experience there.

All is well here, just work, quilting, and more work.

Dennis, Great job with that Mini Meets sign! :cool1: DD and DH didn't even recognize me in the photo. They'd better get used to it. That's what I look like in the wind.

.

Nope...we are just not interested in having to buy seperate tickets to get in when we got such a deal on the 10 day ones last year. 4 or 5 - midnight just isn't enough time either. They don't have the Cinderellabration going on then from last year's schedule either...which is a must see for DD. :) We will have a full day in MGM with Fantasmic. :wizard:

Well, my other two cents is that you really can't go wrong with ANY of the parks! :thumbsup2 MGM will be lots of fun with fantasmic and the Osborne Lights.

Jennifer, sorry to lose you. Hope things start looking up soon.

We may lose several of our family members that were going to be joining us also. Nephew and his wife have found she is going to have a baby (their first) Oct 31, so they definately can't go. Others may have to postpone also. We will see. Maybe the whole lot of them will have to postpone to 2007. Golly, then we would have to take yet another cruise! :teeth: Dennis, myself and DGS Aaron (age 7) are still planning on this one regardless of what the others have to do. pirate: :woohoo:

Jennifer sorry you can't do this one. There will be others!

We got our tickets for MVMCP today! I am so excited!!! We are going the Thursday before the trip! We wanted to stay at ASM before and POP after but AAA discounted rooms were not available for ASM before but are after. So - pre cruise POP and Post cruise ASM.

Sorry if that was confusing! Anyway I am so excited I think I will add a few dancing bananas!

Now you are making me excited too! Maybe if it turns out to be just DH, DGS and myself we will go to MVMCP too. :Pinkbounc :woohoo:

That is great, Brandi! :) Angie, you know you are like family to many of us from the 12/10 cruise. :) Go ahead & sign up for the 12/1/07 and make it a triple play!
