are you kidding me? what about L'Orange?
dark chocolate laced with orange liqueur. yummm.
We only knew of the british branch, who knew! All the good lines of chocolate have made in Britain on them, lol. FLAKE, SMARTIES, DOTS etc.

You are really bringing back memories! I was 11 years old before I ever set foot in a restaurant! Then I went to a coffee shop with my dad when he took me to the doctor in the "big city" of Grand Junction, CO. Had a burger and was amazed at the ketchup in the squeeze bottle.
But when I reached my teenage years my sister, brother and myself did go to McDonald's in Downey, CA - the original one!- for lunch every Sunday after church. Our mom was working then also and both parents worked on Sunday, thus the "treat" of McDonalds. 5 Burgers for a dollar. My brother got 3 and my sister and I each had one.

She probably won't want the hash thrown on top of her spaghettios though!

See, I knew it.Yes, Sweet Man your omelets are yummy, however they take you a LONG time to make and you could not get them made, served to 3 kids and get you all out the door dressed appropriately in time for school and work.
Ah, the old "You're not allowed to tell me I am wrong or you will hurt my feelings " deal!I would have just let him take them out that way (but put a sweatshirt or something in Nathan's bag for the teachers to put on). They know you aren't feeling well.
I do see your point very clearly about applying what he does for himself to the kids.
Elaine, haven't found that one up here yet, will have to make a trip to the Beaches one of our two Ben and Jerry's. I have liked Chunky Monkey, banana ice cream, chocolate chunks and walnuts, for years, though.
Becka....DH rarely gets the kids dressed and definitely not during the week as he is up and gone by 6am. He helps me on his day off but only after I pick the outfits out.
I do have to say he's got the good end of the deal...he only has to get himself up, dressed and off to work....I have three people to get ready before getting out the door and then a stop at daycare. But then he does agree to many Disney trips and lots of frivilous purchases.....
the thought of mingling those 2 odors is just making me gag.
Anyone know that Martina McBride song about dreams and spaghettios - my kids get a kick out of that.
Good morning everyone!
We are in store for lots of snow - 12-18 inches they are saying by noon tomorrow.
Schools are all closed, and it is coming down. What a day for Amy's first day back to work!
Flurries here for now. School's still on. The experts still can't agree on what will happen in this storm here... maybe heavier snow this afternoon, then sleet, then heavy rain, then sleet, finishing with snow around noon Wed.
I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

You all know the headaches the school has given me over the past 1 1/2 years. Well, we joined together and wrote letters to the superintendant over the past three weeks. They were turned in last Thursday. That same day trucks of sand were delivered to the school and a small plow was spreading them over the Kindergarten playground...which had been closed since the second week of school due to it being unsafe due to no ground cover and rocks present under the equipment. The kids can now play on their playground!!!!The teachers were given a follow up survey yesterday asking about their satisfaction and the level of respect that they receive from administration. They SLAMMED her!!!!!
Last year when some people complained they were given a survey and the principal received a 65% DISAPPROVAL rating from them.
She was given a warning. Now we know that the other admin has been covering for her cleaning up the mess. She was so happy when I was in the office to take DD in late after her little incident yesterday morning. I think that the teachers are feeling empowered with so many parents backing them. I don't know how they could possibly allow her to stay. She may be on her way out the door very soon!!!!
