And just WHERE is Bobby's coat and mittens? The poor boy has only been to the tropics and you have him out there just about naked! He is going to catch his death of cold!

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Just look at Andy and Devon....in the picture and SMILING!!:thumbsup2

Lisa, I know John1 is "working on you" to go with us in May.....have you thought about how HOT, HOT, HOT it will be in August in the Canal Zone? :sad2: Possible hurricanes once you hit the caribbean. :scared1: You better work out somethig with the school and come with us. :)

HEY!! Stop that! ;)

I'm 9 pages behind on this thread - just like old times :lmao:
Can't read now - shutting down for the evening. I'm going to go read.

No school tomorrow for Sophia - she is still up.

I watched Isabella sneak downstairs to watch the game. She snowed him for a while until he realized how bad it is going to be getting her up tomorrow morning and brought her back upstairs.

It's snowing here in the Philly burbs... and a mini pirate!

My mom called to see if we knew it was snowing, I didn't:rolleyes: , so I told Amanda to go out on the porch to get a bag for me. She was a bit reluctant, but did it. She yelled back, "What bag??" then SNOW!!! IT'S SNOWING!!! and preoceedeed to get on DH's shoes, DD's coat and run outside to get some to eat. Dina followed suit in her summer jammies and pirate boots.:rolleyes1

It was hilarious!:lmao:

Kodak Moment

:cool1:  We may be cruising together again Elaine! :cool1:

I think 5 days is really enough for me. Plus, a shorter period of time means we could get a much cheaper cabin. Sept. is also a nce cheap time to visit WDW and tack on a few days there.

I guess hurricane season is a negative and the fact that the kids will not be 8 until Jan. 2009. I would rather see them move up a level at the club and be able to sign themselves out.

But I think I will ask for a quote and see what I get back.

Does anyone know what kind of activities they drop on a 5 day cruise vs. the 7 day? I know they don't have them too often.

Dody - we will have to make Rainforest dates. I would want to make sure I got there every day this time unlike our Dec. trip.

Hmmmm, maybe Dina and I could just stay on the ship after the Repo while DH takes the other two home for school...heck, even Amanda could miss the first 3 days of school.:rolleyes1

I would think you could just look at 4 day navigators since the 5th day is a second day at CC. NICE!

Elaine, maybe they will have the free dining plan again in Sept. That would save a bundle!

I think my main problem was how heavy everything was. At home I cook with little or no oil, fat free milk, "light" margarine's, etc... Because of previous problems with cholesterol (DH and I both had very high and his family has history of heart disease). So eating so light for the last year and a half (when I really buckled down to get us healthy) kind of made it really hard for DH and I to stomach those foods that were cooked in lots of oil. Even the Penne Pasta Arrabiata, that I ordered for lunch one day at Lumiere's was just swimming in oil and I thought it would be a light pasta dish. It left us feeling bloated every night and for me the taste of oily dishes drowns out the true flavor of a dish.

Dody,

You know, I ordered off the light side or vegetarian menu almost every night, either for me or DD. I actually thought the flavoring on those choices were better than the regular meals. The vegetarian lasagna was fab! Because DH and DD don't care about food, I was just happy to sit down for a meal! Odd though, that those lite side were better seasoned.
