Aw, thanks. We liked you guys a lot too. Everyone is soooo nice. Well, if I win the big Powerball, we'll do both. LOL. Maybe I could just start working 7 days. Yeah, that's the ticket. One thing we could do is just meet everyone for Disnayland in August. That would work.

Everyone has to have a plan and a back-up right?

I have been so distracted by the PC cruises that i never saw that ALL the wonder 4-day cruises from May thru sept 2008 will be double CC cruises....

SWEEEEEET................

They leave on a sunday and come back on thursday...plenty of time to add on to front or back of cruise.....

I know Elaine and Dody were looking at shorter trips... Anyone want to plan a back up trip? I know summer is hot...(it's summer; swim more)

Anyway...a summer cruise sometime after Mid-June would work great. Maybe over 4th of July? Late June ok too....

Oh, thinking about the food now.....mmmmmm. Love that tomato pizza at Palo. Herb encrusted sea bass....mmmmmmm. I don't think they had that this cruise????

The Palo pizza was definately good! That's one thing I really enjoyed. I love thin crust like that. Mmmmm!

Amanda had sign out privledges, but it wasn't so she could come and go as she pleased. She didn't use it by herself, it was just nice so she could get in and out quicker.

They just did them too small Dody...... I would have told you that but you already had half your head done....

Yeah, after I got home I read here on the DIS that they make the braids way too small on CC and they're more painful. On the ship they don't do as many braids so that probably would've been a little easier to handle.

I'm just really annoyed that I spent as much as I did and couldn't wear them longer than 3 days.

I didn't even give DD12 priviledges on our cruise but she's kind of scatter brained in new environments so it was mainly because I wasn't comfortable with thinking she'd be wandering around a place she wasn't familiar with and could run into some trouble.

After what happened on the Wonder earlier this month I'm even more comfortable with my decision to have taken away the priviledges.

So that's for sure that the 4 days are DDs? I thought that was just a rumor? I think I'd prefer a summer over the september 5 day because I'm a little nervous about it being peak hurricane season.

Where does it list the itineraries for the summer Wonder cruises? So much to consider. I wish the 31st would hurry!!!

Yep. That's the only bummer of it. That's why the 5 night itinerary sounds so nice, you get one sea day as well. But ugh, I'm scared of a hurricane.

Actually Hurricane season in Atlantic officially starts in June but most years we are fortunate enough not to have them until August/september.

But that doesn't mean they couldn't be earlier though.....

You could always look at Nassau as a sea day and just not get off the boat....

I'm not a fan of Nassau...been there did that...especially since you can't do blue lagoon island anymore.

Hurricane season runs June- November, right? I thought I read though that September is the peak of the season so I'm a little more nervous about that. I guess it's just a chance we'll have to take since summer-september are the best times for us to book in 2008.

Another plus to booking the september is that september 2008 will be DH and I's 15th anniversary. What better way to celebrate than by taking a cruise.

I'm just getting cold feet on the PC repos

I terribly afraid that the TA's will call in...Snag all the good stuff by asking for hundreds of quotes and then nothing in my price range will be left.

I mean just on the boards alone there's over a hundred or so people who are either calling or getting TA quotes (or both)

I have to work that day so if i can't get through i guess it's a no go....

Kristina, is there a reason you don't use a TA? We use DU and it removes alot of stress for me....let them stress! Plus we get a couple of hundred in onboard credit from them.

here's the thing.... i like having control myself over my ressie...

Everyone else has put in for quotes for the past couple weeks..OK fine so that means i go to the bottom of the piles of quotes for DU.....Right?

So what's worse... Not getting through on your own or getting no cabin because 200 other people were ahead of you for quotes?

(i'm sorry to be a downer... i'm just really not feeling well today (thanks to germs at the office and DD at home) and the next two weeks are going to be stressfull enough. It's just bad timing that i have to worry about PC or no PC right now....)

but if i get a cabin i might transfer it for the credit.......

I am still on the fence with the TA thing too. If I put it in now, I would be at the bottom of the barrel, so what does that leave me? I had much luck booking the Repo Med and got right on with a CM, but this one will be much worse as far as the number of phone calls go. They need to release the prices already!!

Plus, what if DCL decides the 10% and OBC can't be applied? Then I lose that as well?? Guess that really wouldn't matter since I can't hold a booking for that long and I need the deposit money.

Savannah's school is only K-2 so she will be starting a brand new school 1 week into the August cruise. If she were not, it would be a different story. She really has a hard time with school and the thought of having her come back from a Disney vacation after missing back to school night, the first week with all the new kids and meeting her teacher for the first time just seemed to cruel for words. After the December Cruise, Steve dropped her off and she ran out of the classroom crying, chasing him down. This is not a child who likes school.
