This morning I was surprised to find DH still home when I woke up at 8 am. I took DD with me on rounds so that the kids would be seperated. We hit Target...or did it hit us? Anyhow I found a nice carnigan & shell on clearance for me, DD picked out a gift for DH's bday, and a present for DS. I also found a few things for the neighbors at 50% for hostess gifts over the next couple days. Also found DS a nice light weigh suade like jacket 50% off. The grocery store was a shock for me based on the price...though I still saved over $70 with sales & BOGO without any coupons. I picked up paper plates, napkins, cups, then kid's zoo pal plates, cups, and forks along with trash bags & napkins if we go to Mike's parent's next week.

Was it Brack and Annette who handed out the ornaments? I'd wanted to thank whoever made those because I collect ornaments and will really treasure this one.

Let me also say thanks to everyone for all the gifts. It added extra "Magic" to this trip. My kids loved checking the stocking for more goodies everytime we returned to the room.

I think the ornaments were from Caroline.

I don't know how many of you frequent the CB very much but Jeafl (Jill) gets the most unusual gifts from her MIL every year. These are true classics and every year I end up in tears reading them because they are so darn funny. Goodness! A Friday night without being able to chat to my dear DIS friends. I guess that I will have the kids work on their photo presentations for school and upload our pics to snapfish. Poor Todd will think that his computer is really broken when he can't get on the boards this weekend.

Last week at this time we were getting back on the Magic at Castaway Cay again. Caroline, DH snapped some pics of you & the girls heading back to the ship. I also have some great shots of Dina on the beach. Last night I clone painted arms and legs in the water out of the shot so they turned out really good. I can crop some of the shots to just have her in them if you would like....just LMK!

Have to stay awake tonight. Elizabeth is an altar server at Midnight Mass.
As crazy as it sounds, I really like that Mass on Christmas eve. It's not crowded, and it seems particularly peaceful.

Welcome back and Merry Christmas!

We just got back from my parents' house. Enjoying a quiet evening at home -- tomorrow morning we go to my in-laws for tamales and festivities Getting ready to pop Xmas dinner in to oven in a bit... prime rib! It's just the 4 of us. Will be waiting up till the kids go to sleep to put their presents under the tree (or else they just shake them too much trying to figure out what it is...) and also have to wrap the rest of the relatives' presents.

Finally got that tree up Friday night. Hmmmm....boards down and the tree got put up. Wonder if there is any correlation in those events.

Our Christmas is always very quiet. We will have some rib-eye steaks for dinner tonght, then I am making turkey and the trimmings for dinner tomorrow. Will just be DrHug, myself and one DD. Others are visiting with the inlaws. I got Key Lime Pie for dessert for tomorrow. Also did some baking today, 2 kinds of cookies, pumpkin bread, brownies, pumpkin bars and gingerbread. I think I may still make an apple pie for DrHug later tonight....maybe. We have friends stopping by in the morning for a few minutes. Maybe they will help us eat some of this stuff.

Hello everyone!!!! I had some business to take care of then DD wanted the computer. OY! DS fell asleep while in time out so he is already down for the night. DD is working on the Mickey mosaic puzzle. I am so glad that they put a poster in the box or we wouldn't have half of what is together done. Who thought this was a great idea for family togetherness??? Umm...that would be me. Oh well! Next time we stick with a picture of a bridge or butterfly. LOL!

Well, there are a few things that still need to be wrapped tonight after the princess is sleeping. The puzzle distracted me when the DIS was down instead of wrapping. OY! Dinner is pretty much set. Spiral sliced ham, potatoes with cheese & parsley, veggies that I find, noodleroni for DD, and chicken tenders for DS. DD picked out a cookie cake for DH that is in the freezer. I also picked up a lemon merange and boston creme pie for the week. We will probably take those up to the ILs Wednesday.

The house is finally clean like I like it. I tossed a few more grocery bags of trinkets from DS's room and vacuumed the floor. It is CLEAN!!!

One more run to the grocery store Tuesday morning for a few things to take up to VA and we will be done!!! Is anyone going to be in the Hurt, VA area next week????
