I am starting to get annoyed. I am comparing the prices of the Repo cruise with what I got rebooking onboard and there is not a full 10% off. It only amounts to $140, but what gives? Now I have to check with the October cruise also. :sad2: She made a mistake with that one that I didn't catch at first so I will already be calling DCL anyway. She has 3 booked in the Cat6 and 2 in the Cat 11. She also has us WAY far away from wach other. One in the front and one in the back! I told her they didn't have to be right across from each other, but...

The 10% is only on the cruise fare, not the port charges or taxes. There should be more than $140 though! I think that the big benefits of booking the repo onboard are the prepaid tips and the $500 credit per room. Maybe they have altered the 10% some due to that?

Playing around on costco.com for some more Christmas cards... I ordered 40 onboard with our pirate picture but not sure if I want to get some more... I still have to go through the card list (and I have added several new geek friends to the mailing list this year!)

Uh Oh!!! My DS came down with Step on Saturday. As soon as we got home...he started complaining...Sunday into the doctor - and STREP!!

Last year we went to WDW after the cruise. Sunday morning DS woke up with a sore throat & developed a fever later that day sleeping most of the afternoon in the stroller. The next day I took him to the clinic after we got home & he had strep. It seems to be a common thing for kids when they get off the ship. DD was ill the year before. :( At least they had a full week of fun first!

Well, I have to jump in the shower so that I don't scare people away at the concert. The kids are performing at 9:30. :) They are both excited. I need to make up the teacher baskets for their gifts to go in tomorrow and wrap a friend's gift since her MIL will be arriving tomorrow. Laundry still needing work and one suitcase full of clean clothes & souvies to tackle. DH was such a dear last night and got rid of the empty cases and straightened up a bit, then vacuumed. It doesn't look as overwhelming this morning. Yesterday I kept going from room to room as I was working and started dealing with another mess.

Have a great morning everyone!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

Is everyone ready for Christmas?!!!
Our plan tonight is to get the tree up and the yearly letter written and the cards addressed. Of course that was the plan for Sunday night and last night as well.

I did not know about the prepaid tips. Is that on my reservation that she gave me on the ship? Whoa! That would be great.

Heading off to work now. My boss is bringing in Chinese food for lunch for us today as our Christmas celebration. Yum!

just an FYI for the Dec 8 2007 cruisers, there was a thread started a long time ago (In the summer I think) for this cruise if you want to look there too.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kim & John posting similar things about their DDs. Kaitlyn wishes that you all lived here so she could play with her cruise friends all the time. :)

Just in case Amy did not already post it, yeah, Sophia stayed home today too . . . Sore tummy.

:grouphug: I was stuck in the 3A time void this morning. I was up with Bella and her temp. She wanted to know why I was staying in her bed vs. her being our big bed. :rolleyes1

Here's one of my favorites, especially because Walt went up and talked to Cinderella willingly. They had a quick chat (wish I knew what it was, but they were looking at each other's hands), then he took her hand for the photo.

He is her prince with perfect blue coordinatation. She was clearly mesmerized by him! :goodvibes

And Becka, add me to the list who say that your kids were NO worse than ANY others! You should have seen Sophia's meltdown on the last night of the cruise, when I would not let her have friends over for a sleepover! I though her head was going to start spinning!

All kids have their moments.

Ditto me to that one. Becka you missed Isabella at the ruins tour when she was told she could not eat the "edible leaves". OY! Or when DH had to physicially lift her out of the Mickey pool when she would not come out. They all have them. I swear their brain synapsis misfire from being excited or tired.

:grouphug: Becka, I know how you feel. My DD had me in a bad mood during most of our trip and I have vowed I will not cruise again until I can do so without the kids. :grouphug:

AMEN!!!!

You are not the only one.
