Today we ran all over town looking for a backpack for DH's Rebel XT. He finally settled on one after 7 different stores and now we get home and he finds out his biggest image stabalizer lens won't fit in the backpack.

I ended up getting DH a backpack that holds the camera, video camera, and his laptop. It really isn't that bulky. It has a special bottom for the camera and lens. I really thought it was neat and thank goodness he did too. We had looked all over before I tried Micro Center.

Has anyone heard how John's mom is doing? I hope things have gotten better since Amy posted last night.

I haven't been on the boards all day because of PACKING. I ruined my sewing machine trying to hem DS's jeans. it bent something and now I need to take it in. As I posted above, we are done except for a few last minute things and the medicine bag.

I am really multi tasking. I just printed off the newsletter. I just finished hand hemming DS's jeans. I just zipped the last suitcase. And while all of this is going on, my Girl Scout troop is having a meeting. There are 3 10th grade girls upstairs baking cookies and making miscellaneous Xmas crafts. They really seem to enjoy me staying out of the way while they do this. I remember when they couldn't do any of the crafts by themselves. they sure have grown up and I sure have relaxed as to how things look.

Dh couldn't imagine being without one. he keeps telling me he is bringing it for the camera but I wonder. He works on them all the time.

DH is taking his gym clothes. He plans to spend every morning working out. Poor soul doesn't know what a vacation is...

I plan to go some days too.... Can't get away from the lime green
