one pair of black dressy shoes for dinner
beach shoes
pirate boots
sandals for the day

Reasons I would want to drive:
No potential delays. Both times I took the train it arrived in VA on time around 8 am. Last time it was about an hour early, but we had to wait on the train because the workers hadn't arrived yet.

I like to drive, but I will still have to drive another 4 hours after the train.

I could get my hands on a computer at a hotel.

Reasons to take the train:
I can relax, walk around, watch movies, socialize, etc.

Food is included, at least dinner and breakfast.

Save milage on the van.

Give my family more peace of mind

sounds like a good idea to me - especially the part about taking longer to get home!!! :hourglass

Being tossed around? We will take more than usual this time because of the ruins tour. We want to take 6 bottles there alone.
