You know, I am kind of sad....I don't want all our fun to end and it really hasn't even begun yet.

John - glad to see you posting. My John was asking about you tonight and hopes you are doing ok and wondered if there was anything he could do....I showed him your prior post. We are still thinking of you all and can't wait to see you.

I have to keep myself busy. I told Amy that is how I cope, and you guys help me keep a positive perspective.

As a child I remember going to lots and lots of funerals with my family. The biggest thing I remember is that I always got to eat my favorite Feta cheese after the funeral, and not much else.

Even after all of those experiences though, I have found that there is really nothing that prepares you for the death of your mom.

Tell Johnny thanks - I appreciate his thoughts Vanessa.

You guys all are the BEST.

so I am guessing tomorrow night will be a late night for me.
We have never gone over to check in during the day. It's going to be kind of odd. Hopefully we will be able to check in early.
I think we are going to hit AK on Thursday (day), I really would like to see the new Nemo Musical.

Anyone else feeling super stressed out and sick to their stomach? I don't know why I'm feeling this way, I'm so excited the time is almost here but yet I'm starting to feel overwhelmed like I'm just not ready and can't be ready by tomorrow night!

I am definitely sick to my stomach from the nervous excitement. I get that way before every trip.

Aaron got his crew papers from Captain Jack Sparrow. All signed up and guaranteeing safe passage, or else. John will have to look them over to make sure they are in order.
COOL! :cool1:

:grouphug: John!

I also feel a little sad kind of like our fun is ending. This thread has been so much fun and knowing that many of us are not available to "talk" to for the next few days has me a little down. :confused3

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: I'm keeping your family in my prayers. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I picked up our door signs and added the magnetic tape to them and they are now ready to go and packed in a suitcase. :yay:

We went to Longhorn Steakhouse since DH suggested it and it is right next door to Staples. It was really good and both the kids were fairly well behaved. Nathan mostly had a problem with excitement. He asked our waitress if she had ever been on the Mickey boat and she said no. Nathan then told her that he had been before one time but we were going back in only two sleeps and they were going to hold the Donald show for him until he got there..... :rotfl:

Me too. The slowness of this thread is bumming me out and I have to remind myself it's slow because we're all preparing, and some are already on their way, to meet up on saturday, but right now it's sad that our thread is so quiet.

She is already talking about the kids like they are classmates. "Sophia didn't go on it last time. (Mickey pool slide) Maybe she'll go this time with me." She'll say whatdo you think Sophia likes, or did Kaitlyn say she liked..." Since there is a Sophia in this years class and kaitlyn in last years I am very very confused.

Carla,

I told Sophia what Isabella said, and she asked me if she could see a picture of her again, so I went to Lisa's site. Sophia said "she's PRETTY"! She also said that MAYBE she will try the Mickey slide . . . then she asked me if I would go down, but I told her daddies aren't allowed . . .

AND DON'T ANY OF YOU TELL HER OTHERWISE!

Brack -save me that chair . . . my FAVORITE time on deck 10 though is when everyone is asleep or in the clubs (adults too) I love taking a nightly late stroll on deserted deck 10, and going to the front when there is a strong breeze and just standing there with the wind, the stars, and the ocean . . . maybe there is a sailing gene in this Greek blood after all.

We had a small crisis here when we got back home when we could not find Allie's stuffed puppy that she sleeps with. It took us 10 minutes but we finally found it in the bottom of a box. She was NOT happy that we could not find it. I am wondering if the stuffed animals need to go in our carry-on just in case. :confused3

Aww, that's so sweet. :goodvibes

I'm still doing laundry. Somehow I feel like I should be caught up on laundry. Why?

Any chance of having a suplicate puppy. My cousin has 2 of a favorite toy in case one was lost. Heaven forbid it gets lost cruising.

I think you are right. The slowness of the thread is so strange...it just seems way too quiet. Other threads would probably still consider our current pace to be way too fast! :rotfl:

I am doing another load. I thought I had all of my laundry done this weekend but I don't know what I was thinking. We can't go 3-4 days around here without amassing a ton of laundry. :sad2:
