BTW - it has gotten REALLY cold here . . . it only got up to the twenties today, and I finally realized how cold it really was walking around the cemetary trying to help dad pick a plot (kept him in the car). It will be a welcome relief to feel some warm weather!

She leaves with me on Friday morning from Baltimore....

Joy is down in FL. So is Dennis & Angie. Holly left today to go to Buffalo.

Ok, DD had a Girl Scout event tonight where they got together with other troops and made gingerbread houses. They all had to bring a bag of candy and a canned good for the food bank.

All dug out and its freezing here. 10 degrees with the wind chill. Brrrrrrrrr!!!

We are all packed except for the last minute stuff and the dogs. We have never left them before and are a little worried. Atleast my ex hubby is taking them at his house so they should be fine.

Dog sitter for Abby & Casey... This is the fourth time this woman will have come to dogsit. She comes three times a day. Walks at AM and afternoon times. Quick outs before bedtime. She leaves us little notes like how they were and where they walked and what games they played..... They dogs are happy to see us come home but never stressed like when i used to take Casey to a kennel.

I'm already packing too much. But I'm a chronic over-packer. Anybody else?

It is freezing here too. The heat clicked on this afternoon. It is in the 20s tonight. It only got to 50 today. We are leaving very cold weather behind us tomorrow!

They say our high today was 35 but with all this snow it felt much colder. Right now we are at 27 with a wind chill of 18. The expected low is 14.

23 deg here now and snowing. We picked the perfect week to leave Buffalo.

Add me to the chronic over-packer club. Every trip I come home with at least half a suitcase (sometimes more) of stuff that was never used.
