we did one on our first cruise and the space was sooo tiny, IDK, it just wasn;t that great....now a villa may be different!
Now see. Different folks, different opinions. It is very cramped and you are side by side, but we just like being together - all the time.

it is still in the 80's here....very freaky as the past few nights have been cooler.
So I look at weather.com and it shows showers at Orlando next week, BUT accuweather.com shows only partly cloudy. Hmmmm. Think I will pick accuweather. :sunny: :thumbsup2

I don't really know what that is. But last Christmas I got a lot for one of my kids at school. I noticed around November that she was wearing the same thing every time I had her for class. Once I noticed that I would intentionally look for her every day. She always wore the same ole grubby outfit. It was horrible. It broke my heart. I went to the guidance councelor and told her that I wanted to give her a nice Christmas but didn't want her or any of the other kids to know it was me. My DH and I got her a winter coat, gloves, hat, bath and body works shower stuff and lotion, hair ribbons, shampoo, gap sweatshirt, jeans, shirts from Sears and K-mart. I also got her some jogging type pants. I told the lady at Sears what I was doing and she got her manager. He gave me a 40% discount on the total because of what I was doing. Then I got her arts and craft supplies. The police officer who runs our DARE program delivered it to the door on Christmas Eve. He also delivered a food basked with Turkey and all of the trimmings that was put together by my husbands Sunday School class. That way the only people who know what was going on were my family, the guidance councelor, and the cop. She was beaming when we got back from Christmas break. Her regular classroom teacher said she over heard her saying that Jesus must have given her an angel to bring so many things. The other teachers didn't know it was me...I did it for her...KWIM? I overheard her classroom teacher saying it in the lunch room. That will always be a special christmas to me.

I always donate stuff to the Bethany Children's Home...but that is going to a faceless person (I don't know them.) Last year was just different...if that makes any sense!

Sorry for the long post...I just got on a tangent...a feel good one.

Stories like this are what make Christmas special.

God bless you Brandi.

the closer the better!!! (in our book) but we must have had newbies..they were very unfamiliar with working together in a tight area.

Wasn't sure about that pirate dress up thing? So, everyone dons real costumes? Is that your family in the picture? Did you purchase costumes esp. for the trip? So confuesd! My older daughter was a pirate for Halloween last year so that might work for her.
Most of us are dressing as pirates or wenches on Pirate Night. You will be comfortable dressing if you want to join in the fun.

Well, I just hope John votes peel! :teeth:

What exactly does THAT mean?

(does this have something to do with the snip?)

Wow! I guess we'd stand out if we didn't dress up then! Another question - how formal is the formal night??
Most of the gentlemen in this group are wearing either tuxes or dark suits. Ladies will dress to match them!

Ok, we need info! Name, where you from? Kids? How many and age? What deck are you on? Do you like crust or no crust? Peel /no peel? Oh sorry, got carried away!

Glad to have you aboard! Did you take that last CAT3? :teeth:

Nothing like jumping on them and scaring them away....some of you need to calm down and stop scaring the nice people away.

Ebeck, excuse these people as they tend to get a little crazy. I guess they are just excited about the cruise or something.

Crust? No crust? Peel? No peel? What does that really matter? Not sure...

Caroline, are you off the meds again? :confused3 Can't take you kids anywhere.

Welcome ebeck!

Well, since I've been to the school numerous times already on this problems....had numerous meetings with the teacher AND principal....AND since I'm one of 7 sets of parents who have had such meetings/concerns/problems.....the kind teacher has now given me her "home phone number" to call her when I have problems or issues.

okay - commercial break time.....ya got to know....I had the day from HE-double toothpick today! My entire drive home I cried my tears out b/c I am being dumped on by everyone and everything. Feeling very overwhelmed.

okay...back to teacher...

it is 7:30 and I call her and leave a message about how "we are once again confused b/c there is a test tomorrow and no material came home to study and my son says you never went over the material, etc etc etc."

I tell her that my son's bedtime is 8 (I lied...really 8:30 but I wasn't going to study after 8 and hoped she would call us back.

8:00...no call.
8:30 ....no call.

We go to bed.

We are sleeping.

...

Oh Karen :grouphug: :grouphug:.

I'm mad.

I'm sick to my stomach.

I'm at a loss for words. .... can't ya tell?

And guess who will be getting a phone call from me in the AM?

Ms. Principal!!!!

DH said - there is something wrong with that lady.

okay...end of my rant....

can I just tell you all how glad I am that you guys are here for me to cry to.

oh I could just use a cry right now!

Karen,

A question for you camera-savvy people...I have a digital camera and want to learn to use its many settings to their full potential...instead of just turning the dial to the green P and shooting... :p

Any good online sources you would recommend? The manual is NOT a good source...it reads like a camera manual...

Brack? DrHugs? Anyone? Given I have a week to learn how to shoot pictures, your help is appreciated! :thumbsup2
