Thank you Dennis. DD and i had fun playing with it tonight. I love that I can doDrHug said:Okay! SOunds good. Never fear Caroline. I will save you. LOL ! John and Brack included as teachers though.. I did teach a course in Photography a couple of years ago, but it was film based. ANyway, Caroline, I will send you a website that may help. I have to refind it though. Look for it Soon.
DrHug said:John is right. It takes experience to even understand the manuals, and I still have trouble. Manual is my favorite mode, but.....not if you don't know about apertures and f-stops. Sports mode will be handy when in bright sun on excursions, or on the Safari Ride, for animal shots. Allows a fast shutter speed to eliminate blurring as much as possible. There has to be bright light though.
For close up people pics use the portrait mode. That makes it pretty easy . Just read the Modes part of your manual and don't stress on the rest. That way you can click it to a mode and snap the 'shutter'. There should be an icon for each mode that represents the type of photo you want to make.
John, we could do a class on board. LOL. Maybe explain composition, etc. I need a review. My pictures suck lately. LOL!
