I can't believe we are getting that close!
We got a few last minute things yesterday....three pairs of Dockers for John, new dress shoes for Samantha.....um, nothing for me!

PJ - was this the store you were going to? I just called. They sell beer wine and have a seperate liquor store. Customer Svc was not yet open so the guy was not able to tell me if this was available through online ordering or not but said you could call and they would do a special "pick up order" that would be together and you would just pay for it when you picked it up.

Ugh... packing....

Bedroom is a mess....

Need to go out and buy a garment bag tomorrow....

so far the count: 2 26" suitcases, 1 21" suitcase, the soon-to-be bought garment bag, laptop/briefcase/carry on, camera backpack, 1 backpack for each kid... and I hope that's it.



ok this is the level of packing I am aiming for - maybe even less. We are trying to do one rolling duffel for each person - the kids get one jointly. then a garment bag for the dress up stuff. I am worried if I ship costumes ahead that they won't fit on the way home but I guess I could always mail them home too.

Lisa - thanks. I think you are right when you just jump in and pack it all goes smoothly. I always feel if I forge stuff it is wasy to run out and buy it. we have 1.5 days at Cocoa Beach to visit the liquor store, Walmart etc.

PJ - did you ever find your wine carrier? - I looked at Target and they only sell the Built double with the plastic supports inside. Different from what you were looking at.

Brandi - I had asked you if you want a very small size 5 Capt.'s suit - jacket and pants and shirt and bowtie for Jake? It is really a 4, I would say. Never worn since I bought it in Aug. for Giona and now way too short in pants and sleeves.

how does DCL define soft rolling duffel for drinks? I bought one that is hard on the inside and has padded outside. But it will not collapse because it is the regular plastic inside for holding ice. It is the size of a small rolling backback - just enough to hold a few drinks and wine bottle.

I was assuming that I couldn't bring this?

Good morning everyone I have been gone this week to VA for Thanksgiving and I did some simple catch up but did I miss anything big??? Well I am so glad that we are so close... I guess that means I need to start my list and pack!!! I always wait
I have to teach Children's Church today and guess what we are doing for a theme???
Pirates/Treasure and the the treasure in Gods word... hmmm do you think I might have some stuff to use? hehe sure I do!! No doc for me yet..

I have invited one of our neighbor's daughters to sleep over a couple times. she started college this year but is still living at home. she thought it would be a cool idea but she said she didn't know if she would feel comfortable sleeping in our bed. I told her we have a sleeper couch, DD's bed, & DS's bed--take your pick. she is also a little hesitant because our dogs sleep with us & she has never shared a bed.

We have someone staying at our house while we are gone as we usually do. He is JoJo's "babysitter". The DISDog has never been boarded while we go away. I quess we are just too protective over him. Sad huh?

If you have time would you do me a really big fav. I was in Canada today and didnt think of it untell I back across the border. I sent Kristens kids the choclate eggs with the toy in it from canada last week. Ya know the Disney ones. Anyway I thought stupid me I should have bough 4 princess ones for the 4 special girls, Sorry dont know there names. I buy them at walmart for $1. Do you have one you will be going to before you head to the ship. If you do would you get me 4 pppppppplease. thanks.

I know the albertsons will not fly then, As when I asked Kristen if she wanted to share with us that was the first thing she said was that dale wanted to get beer. My Dh might want some also, then when Joy said she wanted to join us, we told her also we needed a beer run, I'm not sure if she told you guys or not when everyone else joined after that. But We'll have to find out where else we can stop then.

I am heading out on a research mission will pick out wine options, I will head over to WM and see what kinder eggs they have, if they have princess ones will pick up!

PJ - is it just not on your fax order form or did you call? I did a search on Albertson's.com for only stores (Orlando) with beer, wine and liquor and the OBT (orange Blossom Trail) was one that came up.
I will call them in a bit and see for you.

I can't even find the fax form. The Albertson's website really will only show me store locations, reciepes, flyers for Maryland, it is all messed up. Does anyone have a direct link to the fax form.

thanks V - I was thinking of just packing it with extra stuff and securing it with bungie cords.

I did buy a collapsible very large "ice bucket" at Target that I may use instead once we are in the room.
