Who is this wonder a first year student. Our rule growing up was never call anyones house after 9P. Almost midnight she called. I am so glad to hear you are calling the school tomorrow. That is in deed bizarre.

Tomorrow is DD's conference - I cannot imagine her teacher doing something like that and Karen I would be royally POd. It's a lack of respect - for not only calling late but not respecting the children to put that effort in to let them know what the heck was going on re the test.

Marielle, I am still checking out accessories...the same brand that makes the battery grip makes lenses too. I say when I have no idea what those numbers on lenses mean. lol

Brandi, Are there public schools that do any Christmas music? They really avoid it here.

It is actually against the law to avoid it. Legally you must present a mix of secular and religious music. My school was really pushing for a totally secular concert. We did one a few years ago. The parents went nuts! They had petitions and everything. Now we do some of each. This went (not with my school but with other schools) to the supreme court and it is not unconstitutional to sing religious music. As long as you are not teaching religion. According to the MENC (national music educations group) if you do not do sacred music you are missing a huge part of music and doing the students a disservice. I thought this would be a good one to have done. That way if it comes up again at my school I can whip out my research paper.

By the way .....Kristina was right. (And I knew this alll along, despite what Andy might tell us...she's always right)


Our Hallmark store only has the Disney crocs for kids....green kid crocs with Mickey heads...but none for adults.
