....I'll break this into numerous posts to help hit our 70K goal.

Our Hallmark store only has the Disney crocs for kids....green kid crocs with Mickey heads...but none for adults.
Ours doesn't have the Disney ones yet but I ordered the ones from shoebuy for DD - the green ones (my subtle nod to everyone here!) and the cool thing is that company is out of MA. I got the order immediately.

Of course DD said - uhm Mom those aren't Disney colors! I said yes they are - and she replied "Not one of the originals Mom" OY! She said I could have gotten her red.

I did purchase croc socks and I admit those are comfortable.

Can I be in the club - no docs here! :sad2:

AFter the day I had...not getting teh docs I was supposed to have today, couldn't even make me think twice about it.

I'm getting mad...but ugh! Just don't have the energy to think about it anymore!

Ahhh - so that is why he was rushed home to Australia when they were at WDW. The guy Sam was pretty good though.

It is actually against the law to avoid it. Legally you must present a mix of secular and religious music. My school was really pushing for a totally secular concert. We did one a few years ago. The parents went nuts! They had petitions and everything. Now we do some of each. This went (not with my school but with other schools) to the supreme court and it is not unconstitutional to sing religious music. As long as you are not teaching religion. According to the MENC (national music educations group) if you do not do sacred music you are missing a huge part of music and doing the students a disservice. I thought this would be a good one to have done. That way if it comes up again at my school I can whip out my research paper.
That's fascinating. The K-3 schools in our district have no holiday concert so they avoid it that way. The 4-5 school has its winter concert in January so that avoids the problem. I think the choirs at the middle school have done one "neutral" Christmas song (can't remember, something seasonal but not religious).
