That is what I was hoping for. It would be easier to keep the kids entertained there. Standing out on Deck 4 with no real entertainment for the kids was difficult and it took us far longer than 5 minutes. It was more like 20. DD was in that infant life jacket and she did not like it and it was difficult to hold her with it on. :sad2: I am hoping they have a child size she can wear.

She will most likely have the one with the arms, kinda like a vest suit. KWIM?

Thanks for the warning Brandi, but I don't have any time anyway! This is the ONLY thread I now read, and the ONLY one I really care about! Let them annoy someone else!

I generally never leave this thread...but I got daring the other day!!!

Aft staterooms get to be inside sitting down whereever. That doesn't seem fair when you are out in the sun. ;)

I know that th0se on deck 1 and deck 2 forward are in the theatre.

Sure, and he likes to dance to the songs (especially if he's in the medicated hyperdrive state). But if he's in the sick cranky state, then you get to read stories instead.
I have my autographed Disney story book. That will work and we can look at all the autographs too! :thumbsup2

OMG my child says "My Bad..."

as in yelling to me from her room to my office:

"Mom the song Winnie the Pooh is here more than once (in her iTunes library)..oh wait, no its different artists. My Bad!"

Oh my!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And I want to know why those folks over on the "Pet Peeves" thread don't understand that. More than 2 had said "kids running and screaming in the halls." For Pete's sake it's a Disney Cruise, they are excited, they are children. Excited little children streaking the halls and squealing with joy should not be an irritant!
Now Angie...didn't I warn you not to go there!!!! Now you have poisoned your happy thoughts with their negativity!!!!

Hi all! :wave2:

My but you've been a busy posting bunch the past few days! Tons to catch up on.

The comedian question reminded me of my one & only link to someone somewhat famous. I went to college with Taylor Mason, the comedian/ventriloquist that appears on the cruises from time-to-time. (He also won the top $100,000 prize on Star Search a zillion years ago.)

We hadn't seen each other since graduating until our first Disney cruise. I opened the Navigator one night and there was his face smiling back at me. We had a good time catching up and my boys were pretty impressed that their old Mom knew someone who could tell funny jokes! :rotfl:

That must have been shocking and great! What a nice surprise. :cheer2:

Brandi, that is about the sweetest thing I ever heard! My grandmother passed a few years back and she was the first really "close" person whom I had lost. My other grandparents were all gone by the ime I was 1. The worst part was, I was in Cape Cod at the time. My family decided not to let me know that she was in the hospital because she seemed to be doing good. The she passed during the night. They still didn't tell me because I would be driving home the next day and they didn't want me driving while that upset. I could tell something was up when my riend's DH called her on our drive home and she suddenly was more quiet. I came home to a house full of people, including my brother who lives over an hour away. I honestly thought they were just being nice... Until my dad came down the steps...
:grouphug: That is a really tough thing. We were with my Grandmother. She survived cancer 2 times....but the radiation hit her liver and she eventually died of liver failure. We knew it was coming but it was still really hard.

Wow. That is SOO much like what happened with my mom...she's been gone 2 years in Jan. She developed a rare cancer; they found it in Summer 2004 and didn't actually find the true diagnosis until Fall 2004.

She had started going down hill Dec 2004; we went up to see her and she was in very bad shape, nothing like I've ever seen before...I didn't even recognize her. They had basically pulled her from treatments and she was living out her time at home.

I came up and stayed around the holiday and she was fairly stable. I went back to MD as I was missing alot of time at work I couldn't afford; 2 weeks went by and nothing new...the next weekend we decided we could get back up to see how she was doing. We showed up and the house was full of people...aunts and uncles I hadn't seen in decades....my brothers...the first words out of my mouth, "wow, its a full house...". Then my dad came to me.... :sad2: She had passed shortly before I arrived...

Well another night and I am once again waiting on a call from work. This one is a bit more expected. We are running disaster recovery exercises on our IT systems and they hope to have the online systems up for testing this evening. When they are up I have to drive back into work to do some testing for an hour or so. They picked a bad week for this... :sad2:

They sure did! The week of Dec 11th would have been much better. ;)

It's like when Amy (well, it wasn't Amy, just someone using her identity) told us things on the other thread.... we have to go see the car wreck for ourselves.
