In fact just a few minutes ago I was wondering how you were. I guess I should have asked earlier!

..... I have to get my memory cards all downloaded to a cd. You tech people...is there a way I can do that at home? I guess I would have to download to comp then burn to cd?

Yes just insert CF card into computer (if you have a slot) or use a card reader with a USB cord (cheap at Best Buy). Transfer them to a file folder in your 'My Pictures'. You can then burn them to a CD. I also leave mine on the hard drive in 'My Pictures'.

You know, I am really ashamed to say this, but.......oh this is difficult, but I know I am safe with this group....ok here goes. We have actually raised a child that "does not get it." There, I said it. DD #2 does not like DL much, went to WDW with us and liked Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot ok, but not the rest much. How could this happen in a good family like ours??

My 33yo DS appears to still enjoy going with us. If he ever stops wanting to go I will be heart broken.

Hi Everyone

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was quiet. Autumn went to grandma's for the weekend so I could have a stress free weekend. Thank God for my parents. I do not think I could survive with out them. Autumn goes for a pre op appt tomorrow and has an MRI on the 20th. From there they will decide when the next surgery will be. We will forsurely hold off till after the cruise and hopefully after xmas. We decide will will definately have to take her scooter with us on the trip cause she does not have the strength the walk long distances right now. I think she can handle about 2 blocks. Its going to be a tight squeeze in the cabin, we checked to see if there was any handicapped rooms left and there was none. I was surprised when I found out that non handicapped people can request these rooms. I guess I should have thought of this when we booked oh well no big deal.

I have been packing slowly over the last week and will finish everyone thanksgiving weekend. Only need to buy a few things still thankfully all little things. We are getting so excited to go. I managed to find our arcade cards from the last trip. Hopefully they still work.

Its a Wonderful Life (DW LOOOVVEES this movie ), A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation....tis the season.

We just watched The Grinch with DD. I can't believe it is on so early this year but she enjoyed it & remembered watching it last year. She got such a kick out of telling us what was going to happen next. She has found it on our video shelf so I guess we will be watching alot of it this year.

While pulling all the suitcases out DH also nicely reminded me that I do have one more trip to pack for before the crise. I am hoping I can use our big hardsided suitcase for everything we need on T'giving weekend so I don't have to unpack anything I just packed.

You don't need suitcases for that. Just pull out a trashbag & stuff it. Better yet, use those plastic bags from the store so that the kids can help carry them. in.

Do you guys put your kid's names on door signs? I have some cute ideas for the kids but I can't decide if it would be a stupid move or not?

I always have and will continue to do so. I have our last name on the family sign. The kids love seeing them. They are not left alone on the ship so with one of us with them at all times when they are not in the clubs I feel they are fine.
