How Scary is that?

Only four posts between my last post last night, and my first one this morning!

Good Sunday morning!

I am in the office again trying to clean up some issues before I am gone for three days. It really stinks that I can never get caught up anymore.

Wait until I am gone for THIRTEEN consecutive days!

What software do you use for pictures on your PC? Does it make it easy to import them, and then burn? Do you connect your camera directly, or use a card reader?

I would then only add one more item to Marielle's suggestion . . .

Next time you need to buy a computer, GETAMAC! It makes all that stuff soooooo much easier that most of us use a computer for with iLife (photos, music, movies, etc.) that you probably would not even have to ask if you hadaMac.

We have already converted Charlotte.

So you remember that you MIL doesn't like it, but not your wife...

The first year we tried frying, I made 2... one roasted the traditional way and one deep fried. Nobody touched the roast turkey! Actually, I think my brother took pity and took a few slices but everyone devoured the fried -- there was nothing left on the carcass. So we've been frying ever since.

It's really tricky to maintain the oil temp so the outside doesn't brown too quickly, and it really only takes 3 min per pound so a little too much time in the oil can dry it out. Less is more-- plus it continues to cook once you take it out of the oil.

I can't imagine TG without fried turkey now.

I think my dad bought a fryer, or at least he wants to. I really want to try it this way!

The Notebook! The Wizard of Oz scares me. To this day it is the scariest movie I have ever seen. I have nightmares even thinking of those flying monkeys! {shudder}

What's next? flying PEEING monkeys...."I'll get you, my pretty, and all your bath toys TOO!"

You've not seen many scary movies have you? The ones I hate are Exorcist (all of them) and other demon movies.

Yeah, the exorcist freaked me out years and years ago....I got up the nerve to watch it a few months ago, still freaky but I go thru it...

The movie that I will NOT watch is Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the version with Donald sutherland.....I saw that when I was 7 or 8 and had nightmares all that night. To this day my brothers won't let me live it down. "Look, the people are coming out of the pods!!"

Yes "Dia" is a build a bear. Her pirate costume is made out of pirate bandanas. She has lots of pre-made disney costumes though.

Karen -- What did you go see?

It was a musical show called "The Taffetas"....set in the 50's ...cute...Christmas songs...I keep hearing them in my head. It got me ready for the Christmas season - but a bit too early!

She has all our highlights, and each time she see one of us, a button phase will pop into her head and she will double over in laughter.
