MommyMinnie said:John you have been killing me with the Cheetah Girls posts. I have kept my mouth shut up till now but I'm just about to burst.
In Atlanta if you are going to see the Cheetah Girls to let off steam you are going to a strip club.

I can't stand it anymore.
V- that is funny! We are just the opposite. I'm the "this is a good enough tree" person and DrHug would go to every single tree farm, tree lot in the country searching for the "perfect" tree every year.lillygator said:Johnny has no choice. I just start decorating around him. My problem is the tree....we buy real so we have to wait until Home Depot gets them in.
John is the WORST at shopping for an xmas tree...the WORST. He will pick up a tree (still wrapped)and oh if it feels heavy "it's a good one V".....um no, I bring my own case cutter and can open them myself.
Keep in mind I worked the xmas tree lot the entire xmas season in '04 (aside from the one week we went to WDW instead of cruising since I was pregnant and had to CHANGE).....and belly sticking out and all I never complained nor had a problem opening 800 trees for customers. You think my husband would kindly do the same for his DW.
Joy, My DH is doing the same thing. I Ebyed a skirt and top this summer and they still fit. (Thank Goodness!)bubbasmom99 said:My DH will wear either a tux or a shirt & tie to semi formal night. He will not be bringing a suit.
I got my formal dress the other day (mail order/ebay) and it zipped right up (woooohoooo). Now if I can just manage not to gain 10 lbs at WDW the week before!
I do pretty good at WDW...all that walking kind of balances it out.bubbasmom99 said:My DH will wear either a tux or a shirt & tie to semi formal night. He will not be bringing a suit.

A couple of years ago we got a fake tree with the lights already on and we just put it together and call it good. Suits me, but I think DrHug may miss the hunt for the perfect tree and all the hoopla that goes with getting every single light in exactly the right place.

MommyMinnie said:We have three super skinny fake trees that the lights stay on permantly. We put them in the corner and they make up just as much "eye candy" without taking up as much floor space. Floor space is a premium in our living room. We like them because they stay assembled and lit all year long and we just tote them from the basement to the LR in one carry.
I'm a little worried this year though. We have two kittens in the house. I have a feeling the trees are going to spend a lot of time on the floor. Rule for this year "No Breakable Ornaments."
Now for my dirty little secret. I never took down the Dept 56 Snow Village last year. So it's still in the china cabinet and ready to plug back in.
Awww Kristina... you could have to be in the car for 10 hours each way for Thanksgiving weekend...goofyforlife said:Turkey subs around..... maybe a can of cranberry sauce ....some canned pumpkin for the dogs....
