Marielle - Don't worry about your DS. He will fit right in with my DS who wants to be a part nudist. The only clothes he wants to wear is underwear. When he gets home he immediately starts taking off clothes and within half an hour it is just underwear. That is how he wants to sleep as well. We have been at friend's houses before and he starts to strip right in their living rooms, etc.. He doesn't even think anything of it until I remind him he is not at HOME!

I need to get him to start wearing more clothes at home. I was thinking of some nice character lounge pants but I can't find them in his size just yet.

That must be a common bond for our mini DISers. :rotfl: Both of my kids are the same way. They never come out of the bathroom with all of the clothes that they had on when they went in. :rotfl2: If we aren't going anywhere they ask why they have to get dressed.

So are you saying that they do Photopass CD's on the Magic?

No, but the photopass at WDW has this option that you can order after you get home. Shutters isn't run by Disney so their option isn't available.

In Nathan's case maybe it is for the best that he does not like clothes. I mean he has a Mom who doesn't even know how to put her own clothes on correctly.... :rolleyes1

Guess what DD13's orchestra will be playing .... Pirates of the Caribbean (main theme)... but of course we will not be there for the concert (it's during the cruise)... at least I can hear her practice the viola portion of the song... oh yeah, the viola part alone is not that entertaining...

Anyway, Brandi, your students need to learn this, too!

Angie, you know that it takes two hours for her to log off after she starts making promises. :thumbsup2

I just checked MSNBC and I have news that will absolutely shock and amaze you. I just don't know who could see such a thing happening....I think it may be so unexpected that we all will not know what to do with ourselves. Are you ready?

Britney Spears has filed for DIVORCE! :faint: :faint: :faint:

What are we going to do with this new revelation? Didn't everyone just know they were meant to be together forever.... :rolleyes1
I am totally disillusioned. :sad2: I thought for sure that this was the one marriage that surely would last forever. How am I going to deal with this news??

OK everyone! I have updated the manifest with the confirmed reservations. :) We are at 168 DISers with 94 Adults & 74 Kids.

Does anyone have an experience with the Vtech or 4 year age V toys? I am hesitant to buy any type of video game but some of them look pretty educational.

I am looking into some things for the girls for xmas. My problem is that both girls fully think what one has the other has to have. Doesn't help that they share a room and bathroom. I am not sure how to "correct" it. I think I am getting Samantha the Ariel bike and Haley the trike.....

I need a parenting opinion...do you guys think I am being too hard on DS?

Today at school a little girl had her 5th birthday and she brought in a plastic flower that she had been given for her birthday. Sometime today Nathan destroyed the flower and it obviously broke the little girl's heart. He was put in time out and apologized at school but I think more needs to be done. DS has been "saving" money in his piggy bank to spend on the cruise. I told him that tonight after dinner when DH gets home that he was going to take some of the money out of his piggy bank, I was going to take him to the store and he was going to buy her a new flower to give to her tomorrow. DS looks really upset about the whole deal but I really feel like I need to make a stronger point here and having to spend "his" money and buy a replacement seemed like a good idea.

So what do you think? Appropriate punishment or too tough? He is 4 1/2 for those who might not know.

Thanks!

V - We got Nathan the Leapster (not V-Tech but Leapfrog) from Christmas last year and he really likes it. The games seem really fun and educational. It has been a nice introduction to "video games" without being just mindless stuff. I would definitely recommend it.

LOL John. You know I looked at it and reread and thought is that a double negative - decided whatev - John will comment.... :lmao:

I am also going to post on the CB just to get a few more opinions....

Thanks V! I just really want to make him understand that his actions have consequences and that he really needs to think of how others feel. I asked him why he tore up the flower and he told me it was "just an ugly plastic flower".

I know! Kevin seemed like such a good husband and caring father. Is there no hope for marriage anymore? :rolleyes1

Well the good news is that he is back on the market...I am sure he will make some young lady feel very lucky! :lmao: :rolleyes1

...a nice lady pointed out that I had my shirt on inside out. :sad2: I threw it in the dryer while getting ready to de-wrinkle a little and just threw it on as I was ready to walk out the door. Of course the kids didn't notice so I walked around like that for almost an hour!
Been there, done that..

Like Becka, DD has the Leapster and had the older version (for years) and last year got the newer one. Love that item.!Really durable and great educational games. '
