I am so glad the girls' gymnastics is cancelled today. This way I don't have to go outside at all. It's COLD out there!

Speaking of cold outside. It finally got chilly here. 56 degrees.
DD wanted to wear a Tshirt, jeans, and middle weight jacket to school but I said no, try again. I sent her to change into a LS shirt and heavy jacket. So she went to change.

She came back downstairs in, leggings, light skirt (ankles hanging out), L/S shirt (like I said). She would have been better in the first combination. But, I let her go. Hopefully the sun will keep her warm.

I'm more than happy to help anyone . . . the only issue is so much of what you can do photographicaly depends on the camera and it's capabilities. There are Sooooooooooo many cameras now, and so many features it makes it really hard to come up with one-size-fits-all techniques.

As an example my Rebel XT takes great pictures at the shows because I can manually set the ISO speed and shutter speed - if you can't do that with your camera, you may not be very happy with your results . . .

Just ask though - I'll help if I can.

Exactly why I am hesitant on buying one. I seem to be good at buying things that have all sorts of features, but none that I ever use.

I'll fill you in after I get home tonight and make sure I am giving you the right settings Joy. I do use shutter priority (not apeture or auto)- because you want to make sure you use a fast enough shutter speed to freeze action without blur.

One of the most important parts is getting a good seat!

Every year, the JH band goes to NYC to play in the St.Patrick's Day Parade. They also get invited to othe places. Apparently they were invited to Hawaii a few years ago. Their teacher told them this and that the reason they weren't going was because of the price tag. At Back to School Night, the reason she gave us is that she didn't want to be responsible for 100 or so "tween-agers" so far away!

Brandi, they are going somewhere up your way next year. I'll have to ask her exactly where it was again.

GA was great last night. It really showed everyone's true selves. Kristina and Alex really surprised me last night. I was waiting for Derek's sister to confess that she too had a roll in the hay with Mark.

I didn't see the whole show but I did get the impression that she did sleep with Mark!

DH was more of an alternative guy when i met him. Oh course, he did take me to the Firehouse concert when the came to campus back then....

My DS wanted to use it. I told him that only mommy gets to use it...mean mommy!!!! I don't know if I deserve it but I sure am enjoying it!!!! I love it. I was using it while folding laundry. Every SAHM should have one!
