John, My first CD went right up. It asked me if I wanted to upload it and I did. Now, I put in CD #2 and it isn't doing anything. I even went in and tried to upload a different on and it doubled the one that was alread on there!!! I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Not sure Brandi.

Try closing iTunes, restarting it, and then inserting your next CD. It SHOULD automatically recognize it when inserted - but there is I believe something in Windows that you have to tell it to recognize iTunes as your music player instead of Windows Media player . . . PJ?

Well, right now your self-control is probably based on the fact that you have dial up! How long is it taking for that one song? I don't know if you can burn through that money that fast on dial up - if you had a video iPod and it was a movie, your kids might be grown before you had it!

But once you get broadband - LOOK OUT!

John1
It took about 10 min!!!!

My CD is working now. I think it I was getting too pushy. It was still downloading my song.

the ipod has a little orange light lite. That means it is still charging right? So I can't take it off until it is done. When it turns green will all of my new songs be on it?

Brandi – I am glad you are enjoying your iPod so much. Although I must have missed something recently because I didn’t know you had plans to buy one. :confused3 I am sure you will love it just as much as everyone else loves theirs. :love:

V - Add me to the list of confused GA watchers! Did they show two different episodes? :confused3

John – No “Price is Right” around here. I think Aaron loves his new camera more than me and the kids combined. He spent hours last night playing around with it. He seems really happy with is so far.

We ordered the Jack Sparrow costume that was on sale for $60 on Disney Shopping for DH this morning. He is going to take some of the pieces from it and add some of his own to make his own pirate costume. pirate: While I was there I of course had to buy a few more items as well. They had a lot of their holiday stuff on sale so I got some Disney princess ornaments for Christmas and a few Christmas toys for the kids - Princess turbo cars for DD and two Power Ranger sets for DS.

My countdown board now says only 34 days! :eek: I really need to get some more done! I only have 5 weekends left before we leave (including this one) and one of those I will be out of town so really I only have 4 weekends I can really get stuff done! I can’t believe we are getting so close. I am starting to really get that nervous excitement going…. :yay:

No huge plans for the weekend yet – just lots of little stuff. I hope to maybe hit chat tonight. I am going to call the Mom of one of DS’s preschool buddies and see if I can set up a “playdate” for the boys tomorrow at a local park or at Bonkers. Sunday afternoon DS has his game with his buddies and then after he is done we go to pick up our ¼ cow. Moo! I also have to make a bulletin board for DS to be “Star of the Week”! :eek: Then there is the usual cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc..

Becka - I did not buy it. Carla sent it to me...out of the goodness of her heart. She knew I really wanted one and sent me one. She traded in one of her old ones and sent me the new shuffle. It is amazing. He kindness still floors me. I can't even believe it!

banana liqueur, creme de cacoa dark, and cream. chocolate banana yumminess. I got hooked on them at the Cheesecake Factory restaurant.
And to think we walked right past the Cheesecake Factory last weekend and went to Shutterbug to drool over a camera instead. :sad2: :sad2:

Karen, that totally stinks! My MIL has the opposite problem, she does not know how to shut anything. When she has been here you can tell because the garage door is wide open, the bread package is wide open in the cupboard, hot dog packages left wide open in the fridge. I asked my dh if they ever had any fresh food at all in their house or did they just eat everything stale??
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: And his answer?? :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I have a box shipping today from there. I am glad you got some cool stuff coming. Fun stuff!!!

I was just wondering how other schools grade. Our High School and Jr HS use this:

A+ = 98 - 100
A = 96 - 97
A- = 93 - 95

B+ = 90 - 92
B = 88 - 89
B- = 85 - 87

C+ = 82 - 84
C = 80 - 81
C- = 76 - 79

D+ = 74 - 75
D = 72 - 73
D- = 70-71

We always had the A = 93-100 etc, but I just don't get the +s and -s.
Back in the "old days", you know when we walked 10 miles in the snow, uphill both ways to get to school, it was:

90-100 A
80-89 B
70-79 C
60-69 D
You'd better not get less than 60!

So if you get to the port around 9ish - what time do you actually board?

I don't think the kids will want to wait in line for over 2 hours.

thanks.

elaine
They don't open the port until 10. If you get there at 9 you will be waiting in line outside. Boarding starts around 11:45 or 12:00. If you get there around 10 or after you won't be "standing in line". There are some TVs and some seating, or you can wander around and enjoy the terminal.

ok second half of the show.....

Izzy/Mer's Patient admitted that she hurt herself on purpose. They took her up to the psych floor and she wanted to go home but the told her she had to stay....

twin baby story- Addison performed surgery to deliver the one twin. (boy) he must have been the older one. George was holding the uterine sac during the surgery of the other baby to keep it still. Baby started moving and heart rate dropped. He didn't know what to do. So out of the shadows , Alex steps in and starts talking to the baby and it works...(Kinda sets it up for future story that Alex misses working with Addison and changes to OB doc)
Anyway, in the end the mothers husband/boyfriend comes back and says he accepts both babies. AWWWWW.

George/ Callie He starts blabbing to her about the whole chicken/pig thing and ends up calling her a pig..... Mcsteamy tries to get with Callie and she shoots him down. Callie goes to George and tells him not to chase her anymore unless he's prepared to catch her....but then in the end George lets her walk away and doesn't follow......

I missed some parts.... Any other questions....
