There was quite a bunch of older kids this year, well I should say again this year. No problem. Most were dressed pretty good. Went though about 15 bags of candy. Now mind you, there can't be more then 40 kids in our neighborhood. It makes it nice though that others come around here or it would be mighty boring. Heck, we had 2 extras in tow. :teeth: All in all it went well, except I get to clean the rug better today.

nope first post because i notice ib was her from a proble i was finding an answer to on the main board.

Yes we are booked as of 2 days ago. It kinda of suprised us because we already had a cruise booked for Xmas on the Carnival Miracle. But we saw a great military rate for this one and couldn't pass it up.

So now its 1 week on Magic, home for 6 days then another week on the Miracle :cool1:

Welcome to the group! :) Since you say that you got a military discount I have to ask if you are in the Norfolk/VA Beach area.

We have a ton of candy at home that no one is going to eat. Someone at my WW meeting on Monday suggested taking the leftover Halloween candy that you know will not get eaten and that is not packaged special for Halloween, freezing it then using it in the Easter baskets. I think I will have to try that this year. Last night I did not eat one piece although I was really tempted by the Take 5 bar in DD’s basket especially since she can’t eat it anyway.

I always buy the candy the day after at 50% and just put it in the closet for next year. I have never had a problem with it. :thumbsup2

I feel so stressed out right now. I wish my DH were home so I could just go and get a shower! The kids were up at 6:30 this morning. They have been crying, whining, fighting, you name it. I am about to break. I can't even Dis...they are like two adorable maniacs!

Hello again....

Hmm great story.... Might we recruit your DD for a project we are calling "Family Beach Stakeout". Sounds like she could be an integral part in our hammock reservation group....

Family Beach Stakeout ....I thought this was a Pirate Pillage and Plunder takeover of Castaway Cay ???? What says you ?

Well, hello again!!!! John, they were in the hammock next to us on CC last cruise. I didn't really meet her & find out that she was a DISer until after Sophia left the hammock unattended. ;) We got to talking and then discovered that she was on the boards. She knew DD's Cindy picture. :rotfl:

I don't want to hear you complain. You have a beautiful daughter, a brilliant pre-med son, a wonderful, caring, funny and generous wife who spends her nights helping the homeless and most importantly you get to cruise with US! :lmao:

Who's complaining? :confused3

I was simply stating facts!
