12:05 landing, 3:00 parade????

If we land at 12:05, go straight to ME (carry on only), do you think we can make it to FoF parade at MK from All Star Sports? I think it starts at 3:00. Any experience or ideas?

You'd have to be very lucky! Would you have FP for the Parade? They may let you in late.

I would just take a cab if you really want to make it.

Hoping your flight is not delayed and lands at 12:05, DME should not take more then 90 mins, you would have to get on a bus right away to MK. You may be cutting it close, but I think as long as everything stays on time, you should be ok.

You will have to get from your resort to MK. So it's all going to depend on whether your flight is delayed, and how long it will take to wait for the buses. You can forego checking in and just put your carry-ons in storage.

The parade may start at 3 but it starts at Frontierland and won't reach the area by the train station until closer to 3:20 - 3:30.

It's not totally impossible but it is improbable so it's not a plan I'd rely on.

FoF begins in Frontierland and will reach Town Square/Train Station by 3:20 or so. As long as everything is falling in place time-wise, you have a good chance of making it to Town Square in time.

Thanks, everyone! That's what I figured. We have another MK day so we won't miss it. I was just hoping to get it done on the first day.

Probably around there. If you had to be there at a certain time, I'd say to give it an hour, but in reality it's almost always about 30 minutes, give or take 10.

Side tip: get a seat as close to the front of the plane as possible. If a plane lands at 12:05, that doesn't mean its at the gate letting people off. I've been stuck in the back and its been almost a half hour to get everyone off...which seems like forever waiting to get to disney.

its calling it really close...you may be able to ask DME to get you on a bus to the monorail loop resorts and you can get there much quickly...they're pretty good about it.

As long as you have absolutely no delays, I would say yes! We landed at 2:30 last year and were in the parks well ahead of our first scheduled FP at 6 pm at DHS. Had time to get a quick counter service dinner before our first ride too. Also stayed at ASSports, did online checkin ahead of time and our room was ready when we got there. This year was just as quick although we arrived the day before anticipated as we were flying out ahead of a blizzard, so we stayed near the airport that first night and then headed back to the airport in the morning for the DME. We got to the airport at 8:45 or so, DME left airport at 9. We got to ASSports, checked in (room was ready) and were in line for RnRC by 10:40.

I'd try it...but I'd also have a Plan B for another day if seeing that parade is a must for you.

Your timing would need to be nearly perfect, as in, your plane lands on time, you sit near the front of the plane to get out quickly, the ME is already full and nearing time to leave, the bus for MK is waiting for you at AllStars (oh, and where do you plan to store your carry on...check in can be a 10 minute or a 100 minute experience, lol).

How about me...plane lands at 5:50pm staying at Beach Club Villas can we make in time to get some food/cocktails from f&g kiosks and see Illuminations or should I just plan on Boardwalk for eating? Friday night btw so Epcot is open late.

Well, you have an advantage in that you can just walk over to Epcot. Assuming no delays, you could be in Epcot by 7:45-8:00. As far as I know IllumiNations is always at 9:00 (except for the Christmas season when it's at 9:30), so it doesn't actually matter that Epcot is open late.

You can walk into Epcot World Showcase just as easily as you can the Boardwalk from BCV, so I don't see why not. Would be a late dinner, but sure.

I think if you did that you might be pushing it for getting back to World Showcase in enough time to find a good viewing spot.

Your bus will most likely stop at 3 or 4 resorts, and yes, you could get off at a resort other than the one you're staying at, and grab a bus to a park from there. (And I'm pretty sure that with the Magic Bands, you can enter a park before you've checked in.) However, if you have any carry-ons, you wouldn't be able to take them on a park bus, unless it's something like a backpack.
