Tanya - That cinches it for me about the docs. I'm not doing online check-in for my next cruise until AFTER I receive my docs booklet WITH all the forms in it!

Steph - Thanks for confirming that the theme nights are still the same. Reassures me about my Palo choices, as I particularly planned Palo dinner for Pirate Night.

It is now nearly 7:30 here and we haven't yet had a single trick-or-treater. I have the place thoroughly decorated outside and in. Bah, humbug.

I know we'll get some eventually, but it probably won't be many. Happy Halloween, folks!

Thanks, but I shouldn't need to and as a last resort I could take my laptop to my sister's house (She's not there and I look after her cats) and print there I guess. It's just a golf cart drive away - lol.

I'm curious about your knee and the sudden scheduling of an operation. Did you do something to injure it? Did you know you had a serious problem or were you feeling fine and the doc just said, "You need an operation - soon!" ?

Edited to add - - We are finally getting trick-or-treaters - lots of them! YAY!

Knee surgery thing did catch me by surprise. You know I have "health issues" that have left my tendons brittle and arthritis in joints. My knee was sore but nothing I hadn't dealt with since childhood. I was just getting out of the car and ended up on the ground. Heard something rip in my left knee and headed to the doctor. Guess I just need to be sewn back together again. Wish the timing was better, I tried to get the surgery done last week but surgeon's schedule was full and he is away this week so the 11th was the earliest he had available. Not much recovery time before the cruise but I intend to get going really quickly. Not about to cancel cruisin' with "the Nuts".

Packing a little today to get prepared. What is the one thing everyone makes sure they have, the one thing you can't cruise without?

For me, my camera, making memories and looking through pictures is so wonderful. I'm a "photo freak"!

Our camera is a must too... but we never seem to take a ton of pictures... our charger is more important.... on our last cruise we forgot it.

Another huge items for me.. my pillow, a fan and pepsi!

Yeah - I think mine is about 20 pages smaller than for my last couple of cruises!

Not only did they leave out the cruise contract and payment forms on mine, but this time there are not even directions to the port (Not that I need them - LOL) and a few other things. Can we say cutbacks? If they would wise up, they should use their computer data to give Guests what they need and leave out what they don't - ie. leave off the air and ground trans forms for locals. Oh, well.

We'll be sailing soon folks! The days will pass very quickly now!

Just got back from Food & Wine Festival. The Great Movie Ride was spectacular! Appetizers in the Jimmy Cagney movie, dinner in the Old West set, dessert in Oz. Trying to get the extra pounds off before both Thanksgiving and our cruise is not going to be easy. It WAS delicious, though.

if anyone is interested... on the Dcl forum.. someone just posted Eastern navigators from last weeks trip.

I know some of the info will change... but it gives us a great idea of what to do.

Val - I think quite a lot will change in the Navigator as to "What to do," since we will be in the Christmas holiday month. But for those who have not sailed the eastern, even the current Navigator should be of interest.

Another day is nearly ending. One day closer to sailing!

Just Back from Disney World!! The food and wine festival was great, crowded but great. Abby got to meet Duffy for a picture and Autograph.
Now that we are back we can focus on the Cruise!! We have our FE gifts all ready, magnets for our door printed, just need to pack now.

Jenn - Did you happen to go into the Duffy store adjacent to his gazebo? I heard that much of his merchandise has sold out, so I've been delaying my return to Epcot until they restock.

The only things we saw for Duffy were himself and his sailor outfit, we didnt notice any thing else for him. It was a busy day there. Im surprised there was anything left lol. Abby did the kidcot fun stops and they had a cardboard Duffy to color around the world he was really cute.

Thank YOU for the heads up. We found them and tore through them last night. I am so excited. Sianna is practicing Hanna Montana because she wants to Karaoke so bad.. in case anyone is interested who is on facebook, there is a YouTube Video of her singing Best of Both Worlds on my Facebook page. Anyway.. Since I was having such a 'cruise' focus.. I am launching my cruise series of websites 30 days pre-cruise.

I would LOVE feedback. They are a work in progress - you could not imagine how long it took to design and fill 8 websites at one time!
