Anyone interested in 2012 check out this thread. Since the quoted "prices starting at . . " are BEFORE taxes and government fees, that means the lowest INSIDE stateroom on the Fantasy will start at over $1,000+ pp, so $2,000+ per stateroom, for 2 guests. And still the small cabins and 4,000+ guests. Again, I have to say no thanks! I hope the Magic (and my relatively spacious verandah stateroom) will stick around for awhile.

Yeah.. I was hesitating at the size of the ship to start with, big is not necessarily better..neither is newer. After seeing the prices, I am SO hoping the Magic goes Transatlantic to Europe and back. I think that will be our next cruise in 2012 if it happens

Hmmm...can white be worn on a cruise? Such as white shorts and skirts for my daughters. Still washing and packing and thinking to myself **these colors are so bright for December** You'd be looked at like you were nutz if you wore these colors in New York in the winter.

The deadline for the f/e list is this weekend, there are still a few I have not heard from ....and a few that do not have cabin #'s. I read on another board that the person in charge had a master copy list on their cabin door..and anyone with changes could add them to the list. ( sometimes there is a problem with a cabin.) I am going to do this.... I will not put all the info on it... just dis screen name and cabin #. I plan on putting a memo board up also.

As to the question of wearing white: Of course! Don't forget that the officers wear white. It's very classy! In tropical climates, it's not at all unusual to wear white any time of year. I'm not one of those who cares about such things though. I may be found dressed in black (or white) whenever I feel like it!

I am packing white capri pants... here in GA people are in white all year long. and my daughter has white shorts.

Same here in FL. The reason I don't wear white much is because it shows dirt more. I never wear white pants to WDW because I don't want to have to worry if I sit on a wall ledge or on the ground for some reason. I've seen my mom in her white or beige capris accidentally sit where someone had chocolate drip, and you know what THAT looks like! Same on the ship. But keep it clean and white looks wonderful!

Thanks for the 411 on the white/summer color clothes. I'm sitting here mushy in bed (head cold) contemplating outfits and disgusted w/ my huge weight gain over the past 5 months I'm trying to eat right and lose prior to the cruise and to feel happy and better again. Sorry just venting...too much time on my hands when I'm not feeling well. I hope everyone (and family) is well and happy

For those who have not seen this pic: It should make you smile if you are looking forward to the AquaDuck. It should make you frown if (like me) you think the AquaDuck spoils the classic lines of the Disney ships. We all have our preferences. I just wish that one of the new ships didn't have it, but there is no turning back from DCL's new direction.

I am the odd one here...I think it looks really neat! and it gives the ship a whole new look. I think it will be cool to sit by the pool and see people on the coaster go by. I love the Oasis of the Seas too... but I like DCL too much to switch.

I just checked my reservation and found that we have been assigned 7614! I like the location...near the aft elevators and an upgrade to a cat 5. No reviews for this particular room, but the ones for nearby are good. Starboard side, too, so if we back into Castaway Cay, going to have a good view!

You'll be 6 cabins away from me and 4 cabins from cyndixo. I think so far among Cruisin' Nuts we have at least 15 cabins on Deck 7, and I'm betting more upgrades will add to that.

That is good news Frank! I am cat 6 - but still waiting for a cabin and or upgrade...I thought for sure I would have something today but nothing...ugh....maybe soon???
