.... and to add - When my mom and I sailed this January, I'm sure our dining time was 8:00, not 8:15 or 8:30, which is why I keep thinking that yes, it was staggered. But if it has indeed gone back to set times, that would make me happy indeed!

Still, who knows what DCL will decide to do within the next 4+ months?

Well, you are right Frank, and DCL's website is WRONG - lol. I called DCL to inquire. Actually, the CM thought it was staggered, but I asked if she was sure and she said no, she would check. When she got back to me she said they went back to the 5:45 and 8:15 on both ships. I asked when they made the change on the Magic, she said "in the last few months" but she couldn't be exact. So I told her someone should update it on their website.

thanks for calling Shari!! If they were staggered I was going to request of the one dinner times. (I know it is not a guarantee, but it worked for us last time).

Now I need to find out when formal night is....
If it is the same cruise.... Pirate night is Tues... St Maarten...

Of course, what would make me HAPPIEST is if late dining was at 8:00. That extra 15 minutes can make a BIG difference when trying to make it to the deck parties if the service has been slow!

And Val - On one of my Magic cruises they moved formal night and on another they changed pirate night. I didn't like it because I ended up in Parrot Cay on formal night.

Let's just hope all goes as scheduled and we all get the rotations we want.

I dont like when they change things. lol. Our last cruise the rotation was LAPPLAP or something like that.
I just like to book Palo for formal night... not a huge fan of their menu that night....

We (myself, wife and two friends) will all be on this cruise as well! We are so excited - this is our second cruise - our friend's first! We haven't received our room assignment yet - we are waiting to see where we are - we may upgrade if possible! Has anyone upgraded from their original booking? We are currently in an outside porthole room - possibly upgrading to verandah or other if possible! We love watching the sea in the morning and in the evening - so we'd love a view all our own if possible! We may join the fish extender list - we've never done it before - but we think it's a really awesome idea!

We are SOOO excited about this cruise!!!!!

Was anyone else on the 3 night - Bahamas - December 3rd sailing of the Wonder in 2009??? Just curious!

Csharpwv is me (husband) and Bluemoon1070 is my fantastic wife that found this post and shared it with me! WE are so excited! HAHA
We are now planning to make our own fish-extender!

We bought a small supply of gifts to share on our last cruise but we never joined a group and didn't have a FE - so we are getting our act together for this cruise! Think we can do it in 136 days????!!!!! LOL I hope so! LOL

To all - - We LOVE all our recent additions and of course any cruise has some who cancel. Holly (thephantomsgirl) was diagnosed and is dealing with Meniere's disease. She won't be with us after all, but I am holding off removing her from the list until she officially cancels for her refund.

It also looks like kymickeyfan717 has dropped out, but I PM'd her today for confirmation before I'll remove her. Her profile shows a few upcoming cruises, but ours is not one of them. Too bad, because I seem to recall she was the one who posted about how crazy she is over Chip 'n' Dale. She was going solo as I am, so at least I guess that means less competition for me over the chipmunks!

Confirmed and removed those two solos mentioned above. Gee - Looks like that makes me the ONLY solo sailor among us! Yikes!

Hey everyone!!! Chris and I can't wait to meet you all and have a blast on this cruise. For those of you who have cruised on a Sunday before, do they have church services available? We are looking for a Catholic mass in particular. Thanks!!!

bluemoon1070 - As far as I know, they do not have regular church services. The DCL website states: "During certain religious holidays, onboard clergy perform services. Check your Personal Navigator for more information, including locations and times."

Last July, church services were offered in Sessions Lounge on Sunday morning. This service was nondenominational. It was open to all for worship. There is not a service for specific religions like catholic. The service was short and guests were able to speak if they wished. The paster was not a strong speaker/leader and I felt a bit disapointed in the sermon. There was a tv in the room that displayed some lovely pictures and ran the songs we sang so you could read the words on the screen and sing along. The service was short and we were glad we went but I didn't really feel like we were at a church service. Then again, we were on vacation so why shouldn't the service be relaxed and casual also! We went with friends both old and new and I was happy to be there thanking God for our good fortune to be there...

Thanks, dwtraveler! Yes, I think it would be nearly impossible for them to offer anything other than non-denominational. There's no way to predict the number of Catholics, Protestants, Jewish, etc. Perhaps other lines' mega-ships offer separate services?

Odd that they held it in a bar (lounge), but I suppose that was the most comfortable and suitable size-wise.

Has anyone seen any positive reviews for the new Villains show? It seems everything I read about it is not good. Oh, well. At least we will still have Disney Dreams and Twice Charmed.

I wonder if they still sell those "Golden Mickey" statuettes in the onboard gift shops. I never did get around to buying one.
