Hello all!

We have just booked this cruise. We were on the May 5 Mediterranean cruise and did not want to lose the pixie dust. My DH and I are in 5132 and would like to sign up for FE Patrol. We really enjoy it. I have not read all the previous posts yet, but I'll keep plugging away at it

yay almost 6 months away. Getting excited. Looking forward to getting to know everybody before we go. Perhaps we can even be tablemates. Have been gathering lots of goodies for the FE exchange.

For those of you who joined our little Cruisin' Nuts forum on Boardnation, that was another "free" board that will now disappear. It seems that Google AdSense was sponsoring those boards but decided to drop out suddenly due to another free board's violation of policy. Just as what happened with the free networks on NING, they will now charge and that isn't worth it since we have so many other means of communication. So it's bye-bye to both of them!

I know only a few from here joined it anyway, so probably not a great loss. No one need worry about our Chip 'n' Dale's Cruisin' Nuts website, because I've had that domain and paid hosting for many years.

Let's just hope Facebook doesn't start charging. Since they gather a lot of personal info and have a lot of ads, that probably won't happen any time soon.

The DIS will always be our number one communication spot.

Ok, 6 months...wow! Life of course is crazy as ever, but it seems like time is flying by. We just bought another house and moved over the last 4 weeks, and it is time to slow down and concentrate on other things besides boxes!

When we were on board, we never booked my DD (7) on the cruise, and I need to do that. Someone mentioned once, ages ago, that you can add a person to your existing cruise through a travel company and sometimes get additional discounts or credits. Does anyone know anything about this or can point me in the right direction.

I still need to pay for the 2 adults then add DD. I wasn't worried at the time about squeezing in an additional child, and 2 years ago when we booked, we weren't sure if we would be adopting and decided to keep things open for a while. That didn't happen, so we are just adding 1.

If anyone has a good recommendation, please send it my way
I am so looking forward to this trip.. though with the new house bleeding us dry, it should be interesting affording it.

I'm on a buzz right now -- Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, we're less than 6 months away from the cruise, and I have a pizza in the oven.

I thought the Southwest booking window opens June 15th -- can't wait to get that taken care of and then everything else will fall into place!

Donald_Quackers - I like hockey, and the cruise and pizza are definitely worth getting buzzed about!

For anyone booking airline flights, be aware that the TSA's new "Secure Flight" rules start June 15th. You will be required to provide your full name (exactly as on Government-issued ID), gender and date of birth when booking. You can read the TSA's official press release HERE.

We changed room numbers, which I posted on Cruisin Nuts list as a new entry. Apologies for the roundabout way of doing it. Everything else is the same. Our old room number had such bad reviews for noise that I moved us.
