F/e's are per cabin. On our last cruise, some did individual gifts for everyone in the cabin, others did not.. it is totally up to you. It is just something fun to do aboard the ship! When the cruise gets closer, I will send everyone an email about the list of who is participating. any ?s feel free to email me

Thanks for the info on the graphics, will try it soon. The cruise is my birthday present but my B'day is really the 13th. DH couldn't get off work that week so we are taking the week before. He said the 11th was close enough,HaHa, and he is right. I've never had a birthday cruise before and I'm going to celebrate it the whole week.

I've been looking at all the fish extenders on the site, guess I'd better get my thinking cap on and figure out how to make one. So much "new" stuff to think about, hope my little brain doesn't burst!

Hi all,

Well here I am, posting my first day on the DISboards, and I find out there are others like me who are Chip and Dale crazy and are cruising on the Dec 4th, 2010 date. I am very inexperienced in posting, so please excuse any mistakes I make.

I don't know how to get all the "stuff" you guys have on my posts yet and haven't even read everything on this "thread" yet but would like to join in, if you all will have me.

DH and I are on this cruise and we are traveling with friends, another couple, as well. This is my 5th Disney cruise. DH's 3rd and friends second. The last cruise I was on was last summer and I was traveling with other DISboarders who have been trying to get me to post for a while. I am tech challenged and been intimidated so far but willing to give it a try now since I had so much fun this summer with the DIS-People I met. Anyway, I'm going to read all your post and enjoy!

Question - On your sign-up form you said it was DH Larry's 5th cruise so that is what I put, but in your initial post you said it was your 5th and his 3rd, right? I want to get the info correct on the cruiser list, so please verify so I can correct it if needed. Thanks!

Actually, I just saw that. Yes, it is "my" 5th cruise and DH's 3rd. I've actually been on 2 cruises without my hubby, he just works too darn much. Having a Disney cruising adventure with "the girls" is just to hard to turn down.

By the way, also saw lyrics to "Chip 'n' Dale's Vacation" song but there is no music that I can hear to go along with it. Where did that come from? Is there an actual song out there somewhere? What melody do these lyrics go to? I seem to be missing out on something else here, boy, you guys know everything!

The music (song) plays on the home page (takes awhile to load) as well as on the lyrics page. If you can not hear it, you are either missing a browser plug-in or (less likely) have your sound off or turned too low. Check your plug-ins. The file is in mp3 format, so you need to be able to play an mp3 in your browser to hear it.

I do have my sound turned on so that is not the problem. Guess I don't have the download I need, I'll have to work on that but not sure how to do it. Not sure what I need to do or where to find the right thing to download. Sure am learning how to stretch my computer abilities. Lots of trial and error.

Errrrr, check my plug-ins? Don't know what that means, have to ask hubby about that but he is on the phone again so will have to wait 'til he is not working. AAARRRRGGGGG So hard being computer ignorant! Glad though that Lar is home this week or I wouldn't have even tried this at all and think of all I'd be missing!

I'll be ready for a cruise vacation after all this learnin' !

Okay, got it!!! It was as embarassingly simple as clicking on the banner at the top that said to click on it....oh man.

But that song was well worth it, thanks! I know what I'll be playing alot. Anyway to download that song to my Ipod?

I am not sure why you had to click a banner. I guess your settings don't allow mp3 files to play automatically. Hmmmm.

The file is Vacation.mp3 and if you go directly HERE you might be able to choose to save it to your computer then download to your iPod. Not sure. Again, it depends on your browser and settings. Good luck!

Sorry to be such a question hound, but I have another....Is there a Disney Cruise countdown clock/ticker that I can get for my computer desktop? I used to have an old one from DCL that we got as an after cruise download/gift years ago, but it doesn't work now that it is 2010, only went up to 2009 for some reason. The one in my signature here is fabulous and makes me really want to go NOW! I'd love to have one on my desktop, too.

Thank you, Donald Quackers! (cute name) About ready to cruise! You guys are the best. I'm all ready to start packing but DH says the suitcase will get in the way. Guess I'll just start with my lists and design for my FE!

We are going over to EPCOT today to check out the Flower and Garden Festival. Hoping that the temperatures are a little warmer. This Floridian like to venture out when it is at least 70 and above. Not happy with the cold winter we had. What's everybody else doing today?

I am recovering from my daughters sleepover... I had 10- 10 yr old girls here. it actually went better than I expected.
today is more shopping for the basement..its finished and we have not one ounce of furniture down there. (movie theater chairs are the search for today.) then off to take Gabby to a bday party.
