Hello, how do I get on the f/e list for the cruise?:rolleyes:
Ask and you shall receive! I had left that space blank for you because either you did not state a preference or I overlooked it (if the latter - sorry). I have added a "YES" to the FE spot on your listing on our cruiser list. The only thing missing now is your dining time.

Thanks, Val! Yep - It's liable to be a pretty big list by the time we sail!

Do you want to set a cut-off date for signing up for the FE? I think as we get closer maybe we should do that. Let me know.
 

our last cruise we did the cut off 6 weeks before sailing....
well we had 2 join the disboards at the last minute and we gave people the option to add them... everyone did. :) I think we had 60.....we were going to split the list... adults only and families.. but we decided not to.... it worked out well we didnt. :) we got a lot of awesome things. :) --my kids want another f/e since we have 2 rooms. :rotfl2:

alot of families had boxes shipped to the dock the week of the cruise.. so they didnt have to pack in their suitcases.
 
I'll make a note on the site probably tomorrow (plenty of time - lol) that the cut-off to sign up for it will be 6 weeks ahead. There may be some late requests after that, but I'll let you handle that however you choose. I am SO glad you are doing this, Val! :thumbsup2
 
I updated the Fish Extender paragraph on the FUN page of our site, to note the sign-up deadline of October 23rd, six weeks prior to sailing. :banana:

Shari... by chance do you have home emails? our f/e list was done through home emails...it makes it easier....

Unfortunately, no . . only for a few I think. I figured there are many on the cruiser list who don't care to give out that info. However, if you think it's worth a try, I could add a field for e-mail address to the current cruiser sign-up form on the site, and make it required if doing the FE. Would that help, at least for any new sign-ups? I would not post the addresses publicly on the main roster though, but would email it to you when the sign-ups close. Would that work?

I know a bunch at the last minute get their cabin #'s a week before the cruise (those who sign up for guaranteed categories.) and some do upgrade.
 
Val - I added the E-Mail field, just above the submit button on the cruise roster sign-up form.

Yes, not much to do about GTY or last minute upgrade room changes unless they notify you at the port. Then everyone participating would need to come to our pre-sailing meet at 3 pm at the Promenade Lounge in order to be notified of changes - lol. Ah, well. We shall do the best we are able, and no one can say we are not trying to organize things before the cruise! :rotfl2:

Well here I am, posting my first day on the DISboards, and I find out there are others like me who are Chip and Dale crazy and are cruising on the Dec 4th, 2010 date. I am very inexperienced in posting, so please excuse any mistakes I make.

I don't know how to get all the "stuff" you guys have on my posts yet and haven't even read everything on this "thread" yet but would like to join in, if you all will have me.

DH and I are on this cruise and we are traveling with friends, another couple, as well. This is my 5th Disney cruise. DH's 3rd and friends second. The last cruise I was on was last summer and I was traveling with other DISboarders who have been trying to get me to post for a while. I am tech challenged and been intimidated so far but willing to give it a try now since I had so much fun this summer with the DIS-People I met. Anyway, I'm going to read all your post and enjoy!

Take a look, click on all the links and be sure to scroll down all the pages, especially our NEWS page. Check out our CRUISER LIST, then complete and submit the form HERE (be sure to scroll down on the form for the Submit button), and I will add your info to the cruiser list on the site.

The first post of this thread also gives you the "code" to copy and paste into the "Signature" section of your "User CP" on this board, so it will appear in your posts.

DH is so happy I found this site, now I have an outlet for my excitement and he says he can finally get some work down without me interupting him for some "Cruise" talk!

Replace your current signature code (delete the logo, as it will still appear with this) with the following code to get the countdown graphic AND the cruise logo:
