They FINALLY put the big Christmas tree up in Town Square at Magic Kingdom yesterday. What a shame it was not there for previous MVMCP party-goers. There must have been a problem, as it seems it was always up for the first one in the past.

Currently -6 at my Idaho home, with a "feels like" -17. That is NOT normal for SW Idaho. 76 here in FL, but rain expected. Is everyone else here experiencing a lot of abnormal weather? I'm betting that by next month FL will get several days of below freezing like we did last year, then zoom into the high eighties! If you are coming to WDW this winter, be prepared for both hot and cold!

According to the weather on my tool bar it was .1° here this morning. Too funny. My car said -1° but I think my computer was confused.

Brrrrrrr. Your cold weather is headed here. All our snow and slush will freeze. Keep warm. I am glad my gift shopping is finished so I only have to go out to go to work. I wish we were cruising this week. We have lucky friends who are visiting WDW this week. They picked a good week to go south.

we are having goofy weather too.
it is 64 and sunny and beautiful here today.
it should be 35 by Sat and then back up to 58 next week. (no wonder I got a migraine yesterday)
we got 2.41 inches of rain yesterday too. just sooo glad it isnt the white stuff!

Cool, cause I couldn't see it on any of the navigators as a drink of the day (guessing that it doesn't need to to be served).

I had one the moment I got on the Wonder last year and liked it! I still have the plastic cup that they serve it to you in.

I know you can get it at the Outlook Bar near the Quiet Cove pool. I would imagine it is also available in Sessions, but I'm not sure. I don't recall if it is ever the drink of the day on the Magic. I think so, but if not, it means paying more of course.

we had a busy day yesterday, it was John srs bday.
I am trying to get my Xmas shopping finished too, but dragging John and some of the kids with me is just not worth it.

was thinking about the mall today, but it is raining, so I am not doing that one.

Yesterday I made the mistake of looking at Christmas decorations at Target, which were already drastically reduced in price. On impluse I bought a wire frame, glittery, full of lights penguin. It does look cute in the front yard, but even though it's not huge, in a couple of weeks it will be yet another item needing a storage spot. Why do I do these things?

On another note: Yesterday my cruise docs for the 1/9/10 arrived, and at first I totally ignored them because the DCL envelope and docs were inside an envelope from RR Donnelley. I neglected to look at the very bottom of the envelope where it said "Disney Magic" in small print next to "Customer Relevance." When did they start doing this?

I've seen posts that they've changed their documents -- was your different than previous ones? I saw pics that showed a spiral bound book with cruise docs.

Yes, it is a spiral bound "Castaway Club" booklet. Very nice. Doesn't look like traditional cruise docs at all. Even the luggage tags have their own little place near the front. But what really threw me was that the envelope it came in, and the address it was from, gave me no indication that it was from DCL . . not until I opened the mailing envelope and there was a DCL envelope that could have been mailed that way itself, but would not have been protected as it was with the plastic-coated padded exterior one. But who is RR Donnelley? Perhaps my memory is fading.

Thanks, Judy. I suspected they must be a printer/publisher, but I don't believe I've ever received DCL docs from them in the past. If I did, the DCL name and address was clearly on the envelope. Not this time!

Oh, well - I do LOVE the new spiral bound docs!
