Hi everyone
Is anyone planning on adding some extra days at Disney after the cruise? If so where are you staying or are you waiting to see what deals that they will send our way?
Sillyandi--The rasul--how is that? What all is available? Does your DH enjoy that? I'm trying to talk mine into doing that. Let me know please!!
We are staying at WDW after also. We tried going before the cruise and we slept the first 2 days of the cruise! We usually stay at the Poly, but we might go somewhere else-i guess it depends on what deals we can find.
DH is the one who REQUIRES that we book the rasul. We are not kinky weirdos (no offense to anyone here who is

) and he is far from metrosexual (again, no offense)- he is a beer drinking, steak & potatoes kind of guy so it was hard to talk him into the first time around but it is now the 1 thing he actually has an opinion about for the whole cruise!
Basically you check in, go to the locker room & change into a robe & slippers (I usually come in my bathing suit and leave it under my robe cause I'm always worried about flashing someone accidentally!) and the attendant takes you to the rasul room. She shows you all of the lotions & treatments, explains what they are and where they would work best then you are left alone for the 50 mins. There are different types of mud, salt scrubs, conditioners, lotions, etc and you have 3 "chambers" to the rasul room. There is the center which has a tile lounge, to the left is 2 showers and to the right is a steam room with 3 sitting areas that have cold/hot water & a fountian in the middle. It's a very hard thing to describe but I have pics here somewhere I will try to find them.
Basically you can do whatever you want in there. The treatments make your skin feel wonderful and the steamroom is really relaxing (although it can get a bit hot on the feet). We usually slop the mud on each other and sit in the steam room with the cold shower running over our heads-the contrast of the hot tile and steam with the cold water running over your head is very relaxing to me.
You can do other things in there

but I would bring extra towels if you have that in mind because everything is tile, EVERYTHING!
We also enjoy hanging out in the rainforest room afterward drinking tea and napping on the warm tile lounges. It's funny because we are both SO NOT the type to do something like that at home.
DH brags about his baby butt skin afterward and will tell anyone around to feel how soft his arms are... Bottom line-It's very nice to be alone and give each other a mud scrub or massage and we both enjoy the steam room. For us it's a great way to get the stress of home out of our systems and enjoy the rest of the cruise.
It's really one of those things that you will either love or hate. We were very surprised to LOVE it because neither of us are spa types (although I totally turn in to one once i board the ship?!)
