Thanks! A Belgian friend who used to be a "friend of Pluto" (Ummm . . You know what I mean) at Disneyland Paris is probably the biggest Chip 'n' Dale fan on the planet. She brought me LOTS of "'munk stuff" when we first met. Since I NEVER go on E-Bay for fear of getting hooked, that gave a sudden boost to my collection of C&D merchandise. What a cute stocking!
Has anyone ever done the submarine type tours at St John or St Thomas?
We did the submarine excursion in Grand Cayman. Does that help?
Maybe the photo, if on or attached to the card, might also deter someone from charging on someone else's card if they lose it. I have heard of that happening. But there is also a possibility that it's for ship's records only. I don't know. I do sort of think it's a good idea, even though I HATE being photographed! If the picture will be on the card we might not need our picture ID when getting off or back on the ship at ports. Years ago our WDW tickets had our pictures. That didn't last long.
Friends may book this cruise tomorrow. She loves Chip n Dale but just does not get the whole DIS thing so you won't be seeing her post here. They were on our Dec 8, '07 cruise and are now hooked.
If your friends book this cruise, even if they choose not to come on the DIS, please do tell them about our Chip 'n' Dale's Cruisin' Nuts website so they can take a look and won't miss out on any news posted.
Hi, Denise! That's my style - I cruise to experience the ship and sailing, not really the destinations. When I get off the ship I prefer to hang out more where locals would instead of doing the tourist thing. Not that there is anything wrong with being a tourist! I guess the big thing is that I don't like to spend money on excursions because it kills that "all-inclusive" benefit of cruising - LOL. Still, I guess if there was a particular excursion I cared to do, I would. When we did the Eastern back in 06 we just did our own thing. We didn't do any excersions. So no help here.
Yep - Good for spectating also!DH has already said he wants to try parasailing while we are there. That should make for a fun picture.![]()

We didnt do excursions on our Eastern in 07. We did a 2 hour taxi ride through St Thomas. ( the people on the bus with us did this, so we hitched along.) it was a relaxing 2 hours. (the kids stayed on the ship.) At the top we had a banana margarita! (and bought a table runner).
Megans beach looks awesome from afar, but a little pricey for 5 people!
I would love to parasail, dh has noo desire, maybe I will take the oldest at CC.
