12/04/2010 Eastern MAGIC - CHIP 'N' DALE'S CRUISIN' NUTS

Happy Valentine's day! One more day closer to the cruise!

At least there are a couple of other vacations to distract me from now until then -- San Diego (with a jaunt to Disneyland for good measure) and maybe a WDW visit.

I was born and raised in San Diego! LOVE IT! Lived there until I was 25, then off and on after that. Have fun! :goodvibes

I MUCH prefer Southern California to Florida, although I DO prefer WDW to DL since it has the space to spread out and be its own separate "world." :thumbsup2

Happy Belated Valentines Day. The kids and I are in Pittsburgh visiting my mom and John leaves for Italy today. (so I was the bad spouse and didnt even spend Vday with John.)

it is a dual bday for the girls today. :)

I'm definitely planning to have fun. It'll be my first time visiting Disneyland since I was 2 years old (and I don't remember that, so it'll be as if I wasn't there).

I can't wait!

Everyone here is so quiet. Anyone thinking about their excursions yet?

We visited Disneyland in November, first time back in 10 years. We had a great time and it is so easy to park hop.

Don't laugh - but I already have our excursion set up for St. Thomas. I know it's a long time away, and things can happen, etc. - but when I was requesting information they offered to put us down to prevent them being booked by someone else.

St. Martins, I've read on several things - and we have a 1st choice picked. But if they are booked up, I don't have a 2nd or 3rd choice yet.

FYI - I was born in San Diego too. My father was Navy, so I didn't live there long though.

I would never laugh at a planner! I am a planner too.:thumbsup2

Glad to know!!

I've been making magnets for our stateroom door. I laugh at myself sometimes - as we are going to WDW in November 2009, and I've not started on our shirts. . .but I've got magnets for December 2010 already done & ready to go.

Hey - Thanks guys/gals for keeping some action going here. We have a great group of cruisers here and your posts on this thread are greatly appreciated. :goodvibes

I am dropping my other cruise (the Wonder) and concentrating solely on this one. Although booked in her own stateroom, Holly (ThePhantomsGirl) is also canceling the Wonder. Since I suffer from triskaidekaphobia anyway, I wasn't too happy that this magical Chip 'n' Dale's Cruisin' Nuts sailing would have been my 13th! Now it will be my 12th so it's back to chipmunk cheery for me! LOL

I'm happy to contribute -- I have to have some outlet for my excitement, despite it being so far away :(

My mom is just as excited. (Just not telling my sister, she is already too jealous of me taking a DCL cruise before her.)

John is our planner!! but he is the big planner for WDW not the cruse.

I didnt make signs for our door until about 2 weeks before our cruise. John didnt get the point of it or the fe, but whatever.... Men!! the signs did make our room easy to find!!

Hey! I resemble that remark! I had someone make magnets for me (no FE, though) and I'm a man!

:dance3:

I'm glad to see there are other dedicated planners here. I'm so obsessively organized that I sometimes drive myself crazy.

I am going to decorate my stateroom door, but after having a few thefts of treasured door magnets, I have decided I will personalize everything so much that no one else would want it - heh-heh. :rotfl2:

on our last cruise.. someone tried taking my friends fe...and it had their names on it. ( for those participating in the f/e pack some zip ties...that way your fe wont walk off.)

on the other board Zandy595 did our names with disney characters.. mine name has Tigger, (Natalie has tink) it turned out really cool. our girls had more fun rearranging our names on the door. :) I personalized all of our signs too so they wouldnt walk away. (someone did however take a gift out of our f/e... coloring books and mini purses.)
