11pm fireworks, on Jan 13th?

Is Disney previewing a new MK fireworks show? We are staying at WL and around 11pm yesterday there was all kinds of audio- talk, singing, etc.- and big booms from the direction of MK. We were lounging in bed so I didn't go investigate, but I'm thinking maybe they are testing out a new fireworks show for MK? It didn't bother me, but I'd have been pretty annoyed if I had little kids who were sleeping; the audio was louder and more annoying than the fireworks booms!

Last night was a Magic Kingdom Disney After Hours event, which features the Disney Enchantment fireworks show (the same show they ran during the 50th anniversary celebration). That’s what you heard.

Yes, it was enchantment, I was there at AH and it was awesome. I’m also staying here at WL lol

Bummer, wish I'd known! We would have gone down to Geyser Springs Bar to watch! Ah well, this isn't a park trip, just a little R&R for DH and me.
